Sal's is my favorite cactus nursery. Best place and best prices for cacti and other succulents! It's Worth the drive.
They're usually open, but they're human too with families, so they might close on occasion for whatever reason. So, I recommend you call to make sure they're open before driving there, especially if you're from out of town! & be understanding if they can't see you. Everytime I've gone someone has been there, even when I didn't call first. Definitely recommend Sal's Cactus Nursery! Bring your cash, it's money well spent on awesome & healthy plants. Everything I've bought there in the past 7 years is still alive.

I can’t get enough of Sal’s!! He’s got the best selection and prices around and I go out of my way every time to come to him! I recommend him to everyone for their gardening and landscaping needs!!

We drove over an hour and it was closed during normal hours.
We called the phone number on the cardboard sign and the guy picked up and said he was not available to meet us.
We live in Bay Area and will not be returning.

Great selection and prices only too far awayThey wrapped the spikey cactus safely in old carpet padding! Everything got home safe & sound and still healthy 2 years later

What a wonderful place. Its more like a tiny state park. Magnificent. Franchesco helped me with my purchase today. Definitely coming back soon. At first i was hmmm its too far! But it definitely worth it.

This place has the largest assortment of cactus I've ever seen! So many choices in sizes, so very reasonable, and the owners are kind and honest. Think of Sal's when you design a fire resistant, yet gorgeous garden. OMG I sound like a late night car commercial, but it's true.

The prices are good for the size of the cactus. It’s a bit out of the way, but if you want large cacti at a good price, it’s worth the drive. Downside is they only accept cash.

We drive 1.5 hrs to shop from this cactus farm. Javier is so helpful and the fair prices are truly appreciated. We love the variety and the multiple sizes of each plant to choose from. We make this shopping trip once or twice a year!

For all you fellow cacti lovers out there - this place is a diamond. Bring cash and a big enough vehicle to hold your cacti babies. The plants are very well cared for and the selection is great - small, medium, large, or gargantuan - succulents, and palms also. We just wanted to check the place out and ended up buying 6 plants (including a baby Saguaro woot-woot). If you are looking to landscaping your yard to a xeriscape I'd try here first. Very reasonably priced. I've been all over So Cal looking for great cactus stores and this is pretty it. Go there. It's an incredible plant nursery. You will be pleased.

Easy access off of hwy 126, but don't drive too fast down Grand or you'll miss the driveway to Sal's. He's got a large variety of cacti in different sizes and some succulents. I got my totem pole cactus (at just over 5" tall, this was the smallest one he had) for a very reasonable price.

Simply CACTI HEAVEN at Sal's Cactus Mart. An amazing place. Erica is so extremely helpful and so very friendly. If you love Cacti this is the place for you. And the bargain prices are truly unbelievable. You must go.

Absolutely beautiful plants with plenty to choose from.I recommend you come and visit early to ensure to beat the heat. Bring cash as it's easier and they don't charge tax. They have wheelbarrows to help you shoo around. Staff is very knowledgeable and help you pick the best plants for your needs.Keep it up team!
