We stayed with Banfield in 2005 and it was great. However more recently I feel like we are getting nickel and dimed for everything. Yesterday I got a call they couldn't draw blood because my dog was too wiggly. To me it is a bit concerning when a vet can't figure out how to sedate a dog enough to do a blood draw. I didn't even get a about that, they just called to tell me everything was done and they said they couldn't do a blood draw, but they wanted to send my dog home with drugs for anxiety. A $25 shot solved the blood draw issue but was not a recommendation or discussion point when I was called. I have been debating leaving Banfield for a couple of years but this might have been the last straw. The only good thing is the wellness plan which breaks up costs. I would probably recommend looking elsewhere for vet services.

You have been warned. I find it hard to write this because I have to give a star. They deserve negative stars. These people are scam artists. I brought my puppy here to get his first puppy shots. They tricked me into a monthly plan saying that I would save all this money if I made monthly payments for $52.99 for an entire year (BTW it doesn't cover the costs of certain treatments such as heartworm, etc.) A year later my plan "auto renewed" which I did not authorize. I would NEVER sign up for anything like that to auto renew every year. The scamming got worse from there. After billing my card $52.99 a month for a year they called me on the same day that I had signed up 365 days later (the 10th of this month) and said my dog was due for his checkup. They scheculed his visit 2 days later. Little did I know that they did this to lock me in the forever plan that bills my card $52.99 a month for a whole nother year. I called Banfield and they told me that my plan had auto renewed on the 10th and that all the work they did on the 12th ammounted to $634.85 (regular comprehensive check up - what a rip off). They explained that if I cancel the plan that I never signed up for I would have to pay the $634.85. Basically they extorted me out of another year of being billed $52.99 a month. Unacceptable, crooked, unethical, and potetially illegal. They don't care about pets. They just want to rip you off and trick you into these deceptive plans. NEVER will I use Banfield ever again for anything.

I tried to cancel my dog's membership because my pet died. They didn't let me cancel until the year round passes, So if your pet passes away, you will have to still pay for whatever time remains in the "contac", no matter for how long you have made business with Banfield. They will keep taking money away from you. And.... Did you know that if you go through an emergency with your dog, banfield can't help you? You have to go to a real pet hospital where they can admit your pet and you pay for those emergency services as well. Banfield is a scam.

They are pretty busy and have a lot of dogs to attend to everyday . So they can come across a little bit short on customer service but their actual veterinary care is fine and I have had no issues the past few years I have been going to banfield especially at this location.

I scheduled a visit for my dog's infected left eye that is not better with antibiotic eye drop and artificial tear drop. The vet recommended a test to test for her tear production because she said dry eyes can cause ulcer. The treatment for dry eyes is just artificial tear drop and the treatment for ulcer is antibiotic. As a physician myself, I don't see the point of doing the tear production test and want to focus on fixing the infection first and look for underlying source later. I had to talk through a vet tech. I went back to see the vet when I saw my dog's eye was so bad and the receptionist told me to drive back. Then the dog refused to come out to see the vet even if I wait outside and asked me to come back for another appointment. So I had to take my dog home with this very uncomfortable infected eye. I can't believe that any doctor would let an infected eye go like that just because I don't agree with her recommendation.

Don’t go to this hospital try to get local vet instead because when your pet is sick and want to see they don’t care . My dog is not feeling good so I call to have a look but they give me 4 days later appointment if my dog is sick so they wait she will get more sick before go to an appointment. I always used go this location because it’s nearby and I bought plan too so why they don’t care about our pets who really need to see . They just making money don’t care about our pets . She was suggesting me to go another location or local vet why when I have plan with them, other location is far from my home .

I took my Goober there for almost 12 years, since I got him as a puppy until today when I had to have him go to sleep. The staff has always treated him well, responded to my calls and questions quickly and professionally, and took great care of him when he was there. Thank you to all the staff, and especially Dr Johnson and Alexa today for sitting with me, and letting me tell a few stories about Goober.

The compassion of the staff when we had to euthanize our 18+ year old kitty was comforting to us. A few years ago we experienced the same thing when we had to euthanize his sister. Highly recommend.
