This bookstore doesn't have as many books as other locations but they do have a great selection. Half this store is a restaurant and there's a Starbucks inside. When you first walk in, it's all tables with popular books. There's one table with Barnes and Noble exclusive editions. These are usually hardback classics with golden edges on the pages. They sell vinyls here too. They also have a Harry Potter table with merchandise. Their children's section has a seat for reading and lots of toys for sale. To the right of the shop are the bathrooms and water fountain. The cafe is on the right side too. This shop have much more space than other locations, making it feel less cramped. Some areas of the bookstore have so much space, such as the manga section.

The woman at the coffee counter was snobby and just incompetent. I ordered one cookie, it would take her 20 seconds to put one in a bag but she did every chore she could before I could get one. In fact, I waited about 20 minutes and checked in but she was just sooooo busy that she couldn't do it. Really gross behavior.

Not clear organized or able to find anything was looking for. When asking staff, she was unable to find online or in person. Place is clean but left feeling frustrated and empty handed.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU PLAN ON WORKING OR STUDYING. The manager here is out of line. Despite ordering coffee and lunch to get some work done, the manager insisted I leave after a 45 minutes, even though the bar was wide open. I was the only one there. It's absurd to enforce such a strict time limit when there's no one else there. The manager's attitude ruined what could have been a productive and enjoyable time. This kind of customer service is simply unacceptable.

Unfortunately, it is so much smaller than Sunrise B&N that it defeats the much of the purpose for me. I want LOTS of options to peruse for whatever topic I'm looking to buy a couple tomes on, and only a larger store can really manage that. I went there once, but with other viable options I'll probably never go back again. Not their bad, it's my style. Really, a fine store in all other respects. Bonus: It has a cafe that serves food.

I was so excited when they opened this Barnes and Noble but it is SO wasted. The Roseville Barnes and Noble is stuffed full of books and I literally leave with stacks in my arms. The Folsom Barnes and Noble is trying so hard to be trendy but really there is just a ton of unused space in the middle of the store where there could be books or games. I have often left without purchasing anything because they will only have the most recent copy of a series since they don't have the space for more or all of their books are in hardcover. The seating area is nice but the restaurant is more wasted space since it is generally empty. Honestly I think it would be great if they redid the store so it's focus is to actually sell books instead of looking modern.

The store is clean. The staff are mostly pleasant. Barnes and Noble, as a book store, leaves me feeling empty and I often walk out without finding anything worth reading. Finding a toy or puzzle is easier than finding a book. At the Palladio in Folsom, the classic section is barely 5 shelves in a 4 foot wide bookshelf What a shame.

An old school Barnes&Noble bookstore and attached cafe. Parking is a bit dicey at the mall, expect to walk from the parking garage. But it's a wonderful bookstore, well stocked, great variety. Friendly staff who are well informed. Always visit when I'm at this mall.

While this Barnes & Noble location is not quite as cinematic as some, it’s a wonderful space for the Folsom community to eat, sip coffee, read books, and shop. It seemed well-staffed and coffee. I will definitely be back for more coffee.

Tried to order a latte online through the Barnes & Nobles app, my payment went through and the app said the order was received. after waiting 20 minutes I asked about my drink and was informed this location does not do online ordering but the app had already taken my payment
