They wouldn't sell me a lighter with out an id, it's not a federal law to sell a lighter to anyone of any age yet they didn't ID my coworker when he bought a pack of cigarettes. I have a full grown beard and am 25 years old but I look 35. Not sure what that was about.

They have a free air and water station with the push of a button. the extra mile store inside has a decent offering of drinks and snacks. Chevron Gas prices are typically higher than competition, but they are also typically nicer than competition as well. I still don't understand that Techron additive though...

Paid for the car wash, car wash did absolutely nothing for 10 minutes before I drove out (no activity, no instructions - was simply not working), obviously no refund or help from staff that is barely awake

The roommate and I were heading to Tahoe for the weekend. He just bought a house and we had a car load of furniture to bring up. Since he works through the evenings, we left late on Friday night. Ended up needing gas along the way and stopped by this Chevron on Saturday, December 15th around 12:45am. That day gas prices were: $3.499 regular, $3.599 plus, $3.699 supreme. The station itself was fine. Well lit for that time of night. It never felt unsafe. (Some gas stations at that time can seem a little shady.) Getting gas was quick and easy. Just used our CC and we were on our way. Convenient if you need gas along US 50 in Folsom.
