Took in my gaming pc after It had shut down and would not turn back on. Took it in and they diagnosed and got it fixed within a week with reasonable prices. Would go to them again!

I'm not tech savvy whatsoever and when my laptop started making this horrible buzzing sound, I knew I needed immediate service. I work on my laptop full-time from home and I was panicking. I'm fairly new to the area and I didn't know where to turn for computer repair. I researched and found Drop Zone through Google reviews. With their great ratings they seemed like the best choice, and I needed this to go quickly and smoothly. The experience was better than I expected! Not only did they repair my laptop on an urgent basis but they were so knowledgeable, communicative, efficient and kind. 12/10 would return for any computer issues in the future. They are awesome!

Took laptop there for touch screen replacement. They had it ready within a week, from order to fix. Very friendly. Very good work and good price. I would recommend Drop Zone to everybody!

Update: 12/15/2023. Had an minor issue with my laptop and took it to Drop Zone. I barely made it home and a call came in that the issue was resolved. The only place I will take my computers for repair. Highly recommended.
I have been here for issues on two laptops recently with different needs. The staff were awesome and it was clear they know what they are doing. Recently I had to have fans replaced and I knew they were the one's to take care of me. Great service, turn around and attention to detail. I highly recommend them for service.

Yet another time when drop zone came through for me. I appreciate supporting local businesses and these guys are great! I have been in with multiple laptops and they always have great service and take care of the issues. Highly recommended and the only place I will take my computers to for service.

Jeff and his brother are great people. This is an honest business that prioritizes customer service. They have gone above and beyond to help me every time I call or come in. I'm glad I purchased a laptop here and would highly recommend. It's great to support small, family businesses because they don't take their customers for granted.

I've used Drop zone for work on computers before, so I'm not sure why things went so far awry on this occasion. I brought my Thinkpad in to have additional memory and harddrive space added. I requested a doubling of the memory and a minimum of 2 TB of storage. I dropped off the laptop and they said they would call in a couple of days once they had a clearer view of what they were working with. They didn't call after a couple of days, so I called them and they said it would be ready shortly and the memory stick was successfully installed. I reminded them that I asked for a larger hard drive. They said based on my model that the 2 TB drive they had wouldn't work, but they had a 1 TB drive that would. I said that wouldn't work for me. After a bit of back and forth, I'm not sure why that was necessary, they said they would get the 2 TB drive from a local source and would have my laptop ready on 24 hours.They called me back a day later and said that they couldn't clone my drive because of encryption, so I had to remove the encryption first. I came back and picked up the laptop. The guy at the desk said he would send an email link explaining how to remove the encryption, which he did. He said it could take several hours and would require an encryption key, which worried me as I had no knowledge of an encryption key.Anyway, I used the link, no encryption key was required and it probably took 45 minutes to complete. I brought the laptop back (at that point it was probably about an hour and a half after I picked it up). This is where things got very weird. The guy at the desk who was there when I was at the store early but not the guy I was talking to directly said he didn't recognize me, despite the fact that I clearly saw he was listening the earlier conversation (this was not a busy place). I explained what it needed, and he immediately started to lay down resistance. He asked if I had made a backup and I indicated no, but the other guy had made a backup when he was installing the memory stick earlier, and I indicated that I was willing to pay for another backup if he hadn't retained the backup. He said why don't you bring the laptop back on Monday and we can ask him. At that point I was thinking, I've explained the frustrating experience I've had to this point, and now he's asking me to come back when he can just take the laptop now and ask the other guy on Monday so I don't have to drive back. I tried to explain that I'd just like to leave the laptop, and I would OK if they needed to take another backup (and charge me) if the other guy hadn't retained the backup.At that point he says I'm being difficult, and he says he can't do business with me. I've never encountered a service business that tried this hard to repel business or make my experience so miserable. I'll never do business with them again.

I visited this store a long time ago when a friend of mine had a problem with her laptop. At that time, my friend decided not to spend money to diagnose/repair the laptop, and nothing came out of the visit. But, I trusted Jeff and his advice on the situation and his recommended solution. Recently, another friend of mine had a lot of issues with her laptop, and I took it to Drop Zone. I worked with Jeff, who spent time to discuss his thoughts about the unit, and possible issues and solutions. My friend decided to follow his advice of diagnosing/repairing her solid/quality (though older) laptop instead of getting a new one. I dropped it off one day, and he spent more time on the phone with me, over the following few days, to listen to my thoughts and discuss various decisions to be made as he was working on the laptop. Jeff helped with updating the laptop (O/S, SSD Drive, replace Mobo battery, etc.) to a nice unit my friend can continue to use, hopefully many years. I appreciate Jeff taking time to explain and discuss items to help making decisions and trust his technical knowledge and careful work.
