“Dear Boyd & Associates We want to express our gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work that both Sean Boyd and Raquel Camacho gave to our recent tax situation. We did an amended 2017 tax return for a business venture failure. Unfortunately the IRS flagged us for an audit of this business failure. Our amended return was denied after the initial audit was performed. Sean and Raquel were great and did not give up. They advised us they would continue to fight for us as they felt this business loss was valid. They worked for months and went back and forth with the auditor who still wanted to deny the business loss. Boyd & Assoc was ready to take this to appeals when the auditor came to them with a compromise. The IRS would allow almost all of the business loss to be taken as originally submitted by Boyd & Assoc. This was a great relief to us as we had taken a big hit on this failed business venture. Throughout the whole process Sean and Raquel remained in contact with us on updates and kept a positive attitude which helped us remain calm though a stressful audit process. They handled virtually everything for us and we didn't have to correspond with the IRS directly at all. This was a relief since we had never been through an audit with the IRS before.
