Where to begin. Everything about our experience here has been negative. We purchased a Jeep Renegade from Steve. Immediately found that the back door locks were broken. Took a week to fix. As soon as we got it back we found that the back windows mechanism had been broken when the fixed the doors. The windows came up out of the frame. Took 2 weeks to fix. Then my daughter was driving on the highway and the DRIVERS SIDE DOOR flew open while driving. The door would not stay closed. Terrifying and potentially life threatening. When we told them about it we were informed that it was not their responsibility. Now several months later the ENTIRE TRANSMISSION is blown as well as the radiator. It's been the worst car buying experience of our lives. We were quoted $11,000 TO FIX IT. There is nothing that would ever make me purchase a vehicle from there. Please DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. You will regret it. Worst "customer service " of my life. Wish I could leave 0 stars.

It was an average experience. Purchasing a new car is never very "fun" but I had to give this dealership only 3 stars for two reasons: 1) the sales person I worked with mumbled something under his breath when I was saying that I maybe needed a day to think about the purchase. I did not appreciate this as it is a LOT of money and I should be given time to think about the purchase if I feel I need it. And 2) the finance person that I worked with made me feel guilty (and maybe even a bit stupid) for not purchasing the extended warranty. He was saying that something WILL happen within the first 3 years and I'll have to pay out of pocket for this. For one, I don't know why you're insisting something is going to be wrong with the truck? Are you selling me a bad product? And for two, again it's extra money and it's my decision so I should not be made to feel any type of way about politely declining it.Other than that, the experience was average as far as purchasing a car goes and it doesn't mean I would say "don't go to that dealership" to someone. I'd probably mention these two instances but at the end of the day I got a good deal on my truck and that's what I was looking for.

Worth the drive their no pressure sales and you might buy a car just based on their customer service... I will always go their... talk to Alex, Steve or Jay and finance manager Michael saved up some money as well.... overall great people excellent service

I took in my truck for a LOF with an appointment for 9:30. At 10:30 it was still not started, I talked to the service manager and he told me that an appt. doesn't mean anything. It is just the time that you talk to the service adviser. I finally got out of the dealership at 11:00. One and a half hours for an LOF is just not acceptable. The service manager was very rude and did not give me any satisfaction.

Folsom Buick GMC agreed to a price on a truck that the dealer had already ordered. My truck was built and arrived a few months later. The dealer kept their same price that we had previously agreed to and my salesman Greg Braver was honest and fair. The kicker speakers for the tailgate were not installed, they are on backorder. I was given documentation that when they arrive they will be installed at no charge to me. I had some problems getting my phone to automatically connect with my truck. I came back the next day and Greg worked with me to solve the issue. I ordered a truck bed cover and tool box storage for the tuck bed. Greg personally took me to the service department to get the installation scheduled and they should both be installed tomorrow. My experience with Folsom Buick GMC so far has been fantastic. Everyone I have had contact with is polite and works to help out customers : )

I brought my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance and to diagnose a noise my truck was making. The service department diagnosed the issue, and stated I needed to bring it back because they had to order the part. I had no issue with this. I brought my vehicle back for the repair, and was called hours later stating they ordered the wrong part and couldn’t complete the repair and they needed to order the correct part. Once the part came in, I rescheduled. I brought my truck in and they completed the repair, but started that they needed to order additional parts because the work did not completely fix the problem. During this repair, I called to check on the status of the repair and was informed the technician had to go home because of heat stroke, and no one else could work on the truck, so it had to be kept over night. They ordered the additional parts and I rescheduled the repair again. The issue was eventually fixed, but took 3 attempts, and I was without my truck for multiple days and was not offered a loaner vehicle.

This place gets zero stars from me. I drive my car in on a Thursday to service my check engine light. They flashed my system for 219, and then immediately, when I got home, the light came back on. Drove my car back in Monday and had to tow my car out. They blew my fuse box and tried to say my water pump was bad with no leakage. They said my car was smoking from the battery, and you can see the freshly melted plastic. They tried to blame it all on me, but I drove my car in...no smoke no leaking, just a light, and towed it out non drivable. Unless your car is under warranty, I wouldn't recommend this place... The mechanic that touched my car didn't even speak with me. Terrible service and this will not be the last they hear from me about my car and what they did.

I took my Cadillac in for service due to a faulty temperature gauge. The service team was very responsive working with my extended warranty company to get the repair accomplished. They had to do repeat calls to the warranty company but continued to follow thru on my behalf. Shout out to those that performed the work but specifically to Freddy and Tina the service advisors and to Ed the service manager for getting it done. Thank you for all your work on the customers (me) behalf

I live in the Bay Area, but bought my truck at folsom GMC last year . I've already had the check engine light come on. I Took it to the dealer where I live. I made an appointment for them to check it out but there were two weeks out, so I made it. When I brought it in they've had for over a week and didn't fix any of the problems, there were still 3 trucks ahead of mine. So I Decided to make an appointment with Folsom GMC where i originally purchased the truck and they took care of all the issues it had in a 1/2 day. Great service! I'll be coming back! My wife and I brought our 2020 Buick Encore in for an oil change. We had an appointment at 10 a.m. we dropped it off at 9:30, device department told us they would call us when it's done. At 12:30 after no phone call we went back. When the female sevice person saw us her greeting was, "I didn't call you!" The car was in the same place, as were the others for three hours. When my wife inquired, the female service person blew it off. The male service person stared at his feet. Finally I asked for the keys. The the male said after the coworker left, "she should have called to say it was late." Wow, great team work Buick Service Dept. This was on a Saturday. Monday, I spoke to the General Manager, Richard Burcina. When I told him the story, he was very apologetic. Took my number,gave me his card and with a hearty handshake "PROMISED" he would get back tome and make it right. It's been a week...nothing. it's no wonder you're service department is rotten. Attitude reflects leadership. We won't be back.

They had a dealer mark up of thousands of dollars and gave little to no after purchase support. I purchased a factory dash camera system off the gmc accessories website that I was wanting to install myself but decided due to time to have it dealer installed. I called the service department and asked how much they said they would honor the install price on the website ($186), I gave them part numbers and everything. I made an appointment and waited 2 hours before they came and told me they wanted to charge me $1000 to install it. I asked why they didn't tell me that when I made the appointment and gave the part numbers. I talked to the service department manager and he pretty much told me to pound sand and that I was trying to game the system. I then talked to Marty my original sales person and he talked the general manager of the dealership and told me the general manager was going to give me a call. Well it's now been over 5 days and still no call. I will be sharing my experiences with everyone. You'd figure if they hit you with a dealer mark up they would be motivated to give good service, guess again. I will not be going there again or I may not even purchase a GM product again. I have purchased 3 domestic company vehicles and 3 Japanese vehicles and it is a night and day difference between the costumer service. Japanese dealerships treat you so much better. I purchased a Honda within a couple months of buying the GMC and the Honda didn't have a dealer mark up. I will not be buying domestic cars again.Update 06/28/2023Still have yet to hear anything. They even responded to this review that they would look into this about a week ago and still have not heard anything. They continue show they lack professionalism and don't care about their customers.Update 07/16/2023They continue to say they they will look into this (2x) and still nothing. They continue to prove they will not do what they say and lack professionalism.

I purchased a GMC Canyon here last fall. I used the internet function and when I arrived to purchase my truck the value of my trade in was $3000 less and the interest rate was DOUBLED. They convinced me I had less than desirable credit, which didn't make much sense, but I had my toddler in tow and had driven a distance to find the truck I wanted. The interest rate on the truck I purchased here is higher than my RV loan which really doesn't make a lot of sense. To top it off they forgot to put the antenna on my truck. Should have been a simple part of their checklist. I would recommend going somewhere else. They seem very nice but have predatory lending practices and less than stellar attention to detail.
