What a wonderful primary care! The staff were extremely helpful, communicative, and kind. Dr. Raposa is one of the most attentive and thorough doctor's I've ever worked with! He had reviewed my case in-depthly before I even arrived to "establish care", and was able to offer care, testing, and a referral that other doctors didn't bother to. I am so grateful!

I have been a patent at the Folsom Clinic for a few years now. Dr. Golepang is phenomenal. He truly listens to what you say when you have something wrong and he tries to fix it or figure it out. The staff are incredible. Whenever I use the online portal they get back to me so quickly. They are always friendly and put you at ease. They are so good about returning phone calls too. I wish all doctor offices were run this well.

*SCAM ALERT*You will need to sign a waiver indicating that you are authorizing them to charge $150 without your consent.I was billed a diagnostic instead of a wellness check when I specifically asked for a wellness check visit. I gave them a benefit of doubt and tried to call the billing department and spoke with the office manager, Karen whom I explained everything but is unwilling to revise the code. She insisted my visit was a diagnostic visit because the nurse, Chris saw a red-dot on my eye lid. He brought it up and I said it doesn't bother me. The whole conversation ended in 30 seconds.I specifically indicated that I’m doing this for wellness check because I needed them to sign a wellness check form for my employer which *they stamped and signed.* I went in together with my family and we did all the usual wellness check, potential health risks conversation (i.e. weight, height, blood pressure, determine vaccine needs, and immunizations). After the visit, we went out to the reception and the receptionist asked me to schedule another visit which led me to believe that they didn’t have enough time to finish up my wellness check. This practitioner is also known to charge things that is 'outside' what your original visit was. For instance, you go in for a flu visit and if you or the practitioner discuss anything that's not flu related then you will be charge for the consultation. Watch out!*Reply Start*No one ever explained to me that it’s an establish care during my appointment scheduling nor visit. The only thing mentioned was that there may not be enough time for a preventative check/wellness check. The list of items you mentioned actually belongs to preventative check/wellness check according to UHC 2023 guideline.Your accusation that “I’m looking for a drive-through medical care” is offensive. Your nurse, Chris spent 20 mins of the 30 mins staring at his computer going through his checklist and my medical record that I provided is definitely not something I am looking for a practitioner. It feels like a drive-through clinic.Your office has the audacity to charge diagnostic service because your provider spent less than a few mins on something he saw and I told him that it doesn’t bother me. That’s a great example and proof of how your practice charge its patients. My family that spent roughly the same time with the nurse was considered a preventative check/wellness check while mine is considered diagnostic because of the few mins your nurse spent on something that he brought up. Another great example and proof that you admit how your practice charge its patients. If you are so concern and follows the proper procedure then you would not sign and stamp the wellness check form.

Dr. Joy Liu has been our family's primary care provider for many years, and we consider a close personal friend as well as our doctor. Personable, friendly, caring, and highly skilled in her practice. Those same qualities are reflected in each and every staff member in every contact. Collectively they are like close family members! Over the years we have presented Dr. Liu and staff with a wide variety of medical and personal issues, many minor, some major, all important to us. The care we've received has been effective and and timely without fail. We value Dr. Liu and her staff highly, and recognize that without the care she provides our quality of life would be significantly diminished.

Office visits are always rushed. The doctor goes through prepared questions and does not take the time to let me explain. The doctor did not address any of the concerns I brought up. It really seems the patient is just a number to them, they do not care about patients heath care.

The place to go for inaccurate summaries in health files, lack of help and little, if any, care for patients. Such a disservice to patients and the health care system.

I am grateful for the high level of comprehensive health care I receive from Dr. Jay. He closely monitors my medical condition across all providers. If there is an issue or medication he hasn't already researched, he researches the issue to provide the most current findings. The system at HLPC is very organized and responsive. All of the staff interactions have been friendly, efficient and responsive. I feel I am receiving excellent healthcare.

I always look forward to my visit to Dr. Lui's office. Everyone is so helpful, welcoming and caring. From the moment I enter the receptionist, to the nurses who take my vitals, and there conversation to my health and how I am doing. Then I get to wait in the room for a short while when Dr. Lui arrives with her precious, caring attitude to inquiry also how I am doing. This caring attitude is exemplary and the reason why I never change my doctor.Thank you to the entire staff for your kind gesture always.

Both my mother and I have been coming here for years and have nothing but wonderful and professional care from this clinic! I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone whose coming or currently living in the Folsom area! :)For those curious: my mother goes to Dr. Liu and I go to Dr Golepang and Dr. Phillips. :)

I’ve been seeing Dr. Liu for almost 15 years. If I ever, once, felt she wasn’t attentive or concerned with my issue, I would have found someone else. Thing is, there’s only one Dr. Liu and I have to share her with a lot of other patients. Sometimes I have to wait longer for an appointment to see her and sometimes it’s not urgent, and I’ll see a PA. Her staff is friendly and I usually get a call back within 24 hours, or quicker thru the system when I need to make an appointment or talk with someone.

I have trusted my health to Dr. Joy Liu for a number of years. She and her staff are always responsive and professional. Even during the pandemic, I was able to schedule video and in person appointments in a timely manner.I never feel rushed by Dr. Liu, she takes time to ask questions and to address my concerns. I recommend Dr. Liu to anyone looking for a highly competent, caring physician.

When you need help, Dr. Liu is always there to support you. I left a msg in mychart to request an appointment, and the front office helped to set up one early the next morning to have my concern addressed. Dr. Liu clearly explained what caused the pain. She educated me which part had no major concern, and which one we needed to monitor closely. The front office helped me to set up a CT scan in 2 days immediate after the appointment. Everything was done in the time frame beyond my expectation!

I love Healthy Living Primary Care! I have been seeing Dr Liu for around 10 years and I wouldn't want to ever change physicians! She takes the time needed to discuss issues, go over lab/procedures, etc; I never feel rushed. The FNPs are all really great too, along with the extremely friendly front desk staff. I would 100% recommend this medical practice to all of my friends and family!
