The worker there told me there was no appointment I told her one of your coworkers made a mistake she didn't care she just acted like she was checking if there was any ability had no mercy to tell me we can help you my dogs had a nightmare as well as I did. I will never go there again the worst experience ever.

I want to talk about FOLSOM VETERINARY on Reading street. My dog Boston, had been going there since she was a baby. She was 12yrs 6 months old. Tuesday, January 18, Boston went in for a check up at Folsom veterinary clinic. I mentioned the fact that she had been acting different but they told me she was fine. $$$. I called them back to tell them Boston was in horrible pain. They would not let me bring her in even though they could hear her howling in pain. they said they were booked until the next week. I had to take her to an emergency vet and they had to put her down right away because there was no hope. All this happened in less than a week. The receptionist is extremely uncaring and rude and definitely will hang up on you if you're upset about your pet.

Was charged $70 for appx 1oz of Baytril/Neosynephrine feline nose drops for congestion. This is available over-the-counter for about $15. I called back to discuss returning or negotiating a more ethical price. I was shut down on both. Arm yourself with knowledge prior to paying their incredibly inflated prices. Non emergency X-rays for cat: I was quoted $600. Personnel are very kind, but unable to support this local business any longer.

Once upon a time, this WAS a good Vet Clinic. Now..its horrible. Rude unprofessional "doctor" who gives out bogus info...ie: there's no blood test for cannines to identify cancer cells. Uncaring about our pet. Clearly in it for the money! Really bad.. Find another vet if u love ur pet!

I've been taking my pets to Folsom Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years. They have awesome and caring staff and top notch vets. They don't just rush through an exam or procedure, they talk to our pets and comfort them to make sure they are at ease before doing what needs to be done. I would recommend Folsom Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a great place to get care for your cherished pets.

They treat animals with love and dignity. We had to put our cat down of 17 years and they loved on her and moved on us during the whole process. They made an awful situation much more bearable.

First and last visit for me. After they double booked my appt, kept me waiting 45 min, the vet was in the room less than 10min, they charged me $58! It was "for the vet's time", never mind my time apparently. $58 for LESS THAN 10 MIN after their screw up. Very bad form, lost future business.

This review is based off the phone conversation I just had. Everytime I've ever taken my dog in here it's amazing and everyone is so friendly. These last couple days my dog has been sick and continued to get worse(I thought it was just allergies) then this morning I noticed something that looked similar to a tick stuck to her. She won't potty, won't eat or drink. I called the vet and someone named Elena answered extremely rude and rushing me off the phone. I know times can be busy, I worked in customer service for 10+ years but there's a certain way you just don't talk to people(especially someone who's worried about their dogs health) I asked if there was any possible way I could bring her in for an emergency checkup because I know somethings wrong. Elena didn't once ask what was wrong with my dog just said nope and tried rushing me off the phone. I've never experienced someone so rude at this vet and it's really unfortunate because now I will never return. And will tell anyone I know not to go there either. Learn to have a little compassion Elena, because your attitude sucks! This is not the job for you.

The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. Our puppies love Dr. Heidi and I know they are in good hands with her.

I have been seeing the staff and doctors at FVH for almost 22 years. When first moving to Folsom, my pug puppy shattered his elbow after jumping out of bed and Dr. Fisher attended to him and performed a difficult surgery. He recovered excellently and lived on for 15 more years with nothing but a slight limp (that gave him personality.) They tended to our 4 dogs, Justin, Joey, Lola and Chiquita with such care, right up until the end. And, along the way, they tended to us too. Now, we added our two new Shiba girls to the family, and I would not think of taking them anywhere else. They handle everything from nose to tail, puppy to older kid. Everyone knows you and your pet, as soon as you walk through the door.

We've been taking our dogs here for 6 years. After today we will never be back. Lack of professionalism from front desk staff. Took 40 minutes to be seen by vet, who then rambled and gave no answers and jumbled solutions for our dog. I had to tell them they were making no sense. I've always felt they try to get money out of you- but especially today. I luckily knew to give push back. Also, put your masks on. You see everyone coming in with them on. Be courteous even in the front. Staff came in and flushed my dogs ears. Asked me to hold my dog still and didn't wear a mask a foot away from my face. So disrespectful. ****replying to your response below: I arrived at 1:15 for a 1:30 pm appointment. But thank you. Take care.

Folsom Veterinary Hospital is the best veterinary in the City of Folsom. They have be helping taking care of all my dogs since my family move to Folsom in the 1980s. We love everyone that works for Folsom Veterinary Hospital. Thank You for all your help with our dogs and the cat we have had over the years.

Folsom Vet has been amazing with our pup since the time we brought him in 8 years ago. He lived a great 8 years because of this hospital. He had major health issues that they were able to treat and he had great quality of life. Today we had to put our beloved dog down and they treated him and us great. Made our dog very comfortable, gave him lots of treats and love. I Would recommend this place to everyone! We come here all the way from Natomas because it's worth it.
