I am completely sold on the Home Consignment Furniture Stores, and have shopped at various sites since 2002. Great service and delivery; unique quality furnishings and extremely reasonably priced items. This allows me to always pay cash; therefore, we haven't had any monthly furniture bills in over twenty years. It has been a win win for both sides. I even furnished my daughter's house with model home pieces that she would still be paying for five years later, if we had gone to a "regular" store. Just in case you were wondering, everyone is more than complementary to us about our home. It's a warm and eclectically decorated 3600 square feet home. I guess the only negative statement I can make is that I try not to go to Home Consignment Stores any more, because my house is full.

We purchased a lovely champagne leather sofa and beautiful dining set with 6 chairs still covered in plastic. Both for a great price. Plus they stored them for us until we moved to our new home. Great customer service and a plethora of very nice slightly used furniture. This will be our first visit before shopping for furniture at full retail stores in the future. Highly recommended!

Rather than go into lengthy detail of our horrible experience, I will just say this: read the negative reviews (especially the Yelp ones), as there is a lot of truth there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to consign here, which is sad because we had great experiences back in 2017/2018 but not this last year. That said, if you do, make sure you have zero care for the item you are selling to the point to where you'd be okay with donating it. IF you still decide to consign and care about your item, make sure you take a full 360-video-walk-around of your item, covering every inch top to bottom, showing the date and time at the location AT the time of drop-off. You will surely need it to later prove the condition your item was in when you dropped it off(!!!) Not worth the headache, imo. Good luck!

Contacted the furniture manager to find out if they were interested in some furniture I had available to consign. some of the furniture I sent them pictures of was approved. I was told that I may bring it in at my earliest convenience. Contacted them about two weeks later when I was ready to bring in the furniture and the furniture manager said they had not approved any furniture that I had sent pictures of. they only had pictures of furniture they had not approved. I was a little bit perplexed being that I had spent quite some time getting the furniture approved and had not tried to sell the furniture myself based on their approval. The manager was rude and dismissive but finally did his job and found the emails pictures that I had sent him of the furniture. I had contacted them again that day and ask them if they had the ability to move the furniture for me because it was too heavy for myself and my husband to move ourselves. I was told that they would send me a quote within 2 hours. That was several days ago and I never heard back from them. I went ahead and sold the furniture myself. I would definitely not recommend them if you have furniture to consign.

This store used to be my favorite It has changed. Someone said hello to me. That was it. The selection in furniture was all very large. I was looking for a smaller couch. Seems like the prices have really increased. I come here looking for a well made piece at a discounted price.

We went in to check on my diamond wedding band that had been sitting for a while. The blond woman at the jewelry counter was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We hope our ring sells soon and that it’s also going to be as good an experience as this.

I was pleasantly surprised with this new discovery. The store is large and has both new and consignment items. I found a pair of leather chairs at a great price. There's also a jewelry counter and a connection to moving service if your items are too large or heavy to move yourself. I will be back to see new inventory. I am consigning my large 6-person patio set there.

Love this place! The staff is quirky, charming and friendly. The product is high end, unique and it's so much fun to shop there! The pricing blew my mind - great deals on all manner of this for your home. Highly recommend!

Regarding JEWELRY Department - - 2 stars - I should have known better than to purchase a higher end piece at a consignment store. It turned out to need substantial work at a high cost, and I asked that the consignor or store meet me half-way for the repairs - denied. In addition, I paid to have the piece authenticated, which I was assured was 100% authentic, until I said I was going to have that done; then was told there were two parts not actually authentic, but the rest of it was (which was verified by the professional). Bottom line - I paid substantially more for a piece than I should have due to the repairs needed, the authentication needed, and am disappointed in the transaction. Initially I asked how I would know the piece was authentic and was told "because I know & have been in the business a long time" (not a sufficient answer), and that "it runs fine" (a watch); however per the professional who evaluated it, it does not hold the time and needs significant work. Just because it runs, doesn't mean it's fine....I take responsibility for not trusting my instincts or experience that it wasn't an ethical/professional transaction. Buyer beware. Regarding FURNITURE department - 5 stars! They helped me close out my mom's home. I sent detailed pictures and descriptions and they were prompt getting back to me with the pieces of furniture, lamps and home decor that worked for them. They helped coordinate a moving truck, and kept me posted about the process. They were super helpful and compassionate, and all the pieces they accepted sold. Thank you, kindly.

We bought 2 sets of furniture and brought truck and our SUV to load. they had no one to help us. my 68 eight year old husband and I had to try pick heavy furniture. They had one man which didn’t want to work, lazy and unwilling! they were telling us if you want the to move it with independent company and they charge you. it just didn’t make sense to have no one to help us with loading and insisting on independent moving company with very bad attitude. never going back again

I sold a piece of furniture that I loved but just did not work in our new home here recently and the process was super simple. I appreciate that you email them a photo first of what you are trying to sell and then they decide if they want the item before you go out of your way to load the car only to be told that they don't have a need for it. Once I got that green light, I loaded up and parked my car, let them know I was there and someone helped me get the item out, as I was a little limited with having kids in the car. They took my info, explained briefly how it worked, and I got a check in the mail about three weeks later. So easy! I briefly looked around (as mentioned, had the kids in the car) and it looks like a fun place to explore when I have time. Note - you should probably mention to staff that you are there to sell, as another couple was sitting in their car waiting (I didn't realize they were there, let alone in front of me so I inadvertently cut them without meaning to) for someone to come out to them. Just a heads up to avoid what happened to me.

Very bad experience with the jeweler Mike. He is very aggressive, condescending, and rude. He will attempt to "educate" you and tell you why you're wrong about wanting something specific.

went looking for a couch and an older lady spoke to us in a very unfriendly and unwelcoming manner so we were turned off and left. The next day I decided to give them another chance because I found the merchandise interesting. Was helped by Jerry and wow did he turn our experience around!! After purchasing a couch I wanted his card to make sure I ask for him and turned out he was the store manager...well deserved! Will be back for more!

I love this place, it has awesome deals, I’m a designer in the area and I buy so much from them pretty often for my business and clients. I would normally give them 5 stars but the store manager is very rude and comes off raciest. We ve noticed how he helps other people hire customers compared to Latinas. I’ve also noticed how he speaks to his workers very demanding and no please.

I was disappointed when I arrived at Home Consignment Center which was my first visit. There are two reasons I wouldn’t go back.1. No public restroom and the owner said customers don’t mind, they will go next door to Trader Joe’s.Google:Does a retail store have to have a public restroom in California? This bill requires a place of business that is open to the general public for the sale of goods and that has a toilet facility for its employees to allow any individual who is lawfully on the premises of that place of business to use that toilet facility during normal business hours, even if the place of business does ...2. The Jewelry Manger said something very strange to me. I asked him about repairing my diamond bracelet which is made of single-cut diamonds. He said if I replace the cuts who say that you won’t say they fell out and want them to be replaced. And he said I do not want to repair the bracelet.I said, Okay. His words haunted me all afternoon when I got home I mentioned the incident, to mydaughter as the jeweler said.We came to the conclusion he was questioning my integrity or my skin color. All I can say... I felt insulted.
