I was quite disappointed with my stay at Larkspur Landing Folsom. Despite its four-star rating, the hotel felt outdated and neglected. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a wet elevator lobby and elevator, inadequately cleaned. Outside my room, there was a stray recycling bin. The room's handle was broken, and the interior appeared to be from two decades ago, with minimal upkeep. A broken lamp switch and the absence of a ceiling fan, which was controlled by a redundant switch, indicated a lack of detailed maintenance. The thick dust atop the refrigerator suggested poor housekeeping. Additionally, the hotel initially tried to charge $10 per night for parking, despite the booking stating free parking and being located in a spacious plaza with ample parking (1,000+ spots). They waived the fee, but the whole experience felt underwhelming for an 'all suites' hotel. See photos.Update: I've reduced my rating from two stars to one star. This morning, we discovered that the bathroom condition was appalling. The wall adjacent to the shower had visible cracks, the countertop bore deep gouges, the toilet's handle was broken, and the shower was in disrepair.

Rooms are in need of an upgrade. Nothing like the Roseville property. Continental breakfast was the highlight of the stay.Rooms: Great if you're looking for an extended stay studio. Small than I had hoped for.

Okay so not a Westin, but it's not too bad. Limited free breakfast, friendly customer service. The hotel could use a renovation and would be amazing. The curtains are not black out so working night shift could be a problem. It was quiet and there was parking and puzzled in among many other businesses like a gas station, restaurant etc.

The staff at Larkspur Landing Inn are to be commended on their professionalism and kindness. On my recent stay there, they were both sensitive and helpful to my particular needs. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast they provide is great for being on the road.

Friendly staff, clean & well stocked room. There were a few issues, for instance, we got the suite and there is no AC in the bedroom (only a free standing fan) which made the bedroom hot & stuffy, while the main room was cool. We also had issues with using the ethernet, and we tried multiple cords. Overall I would stay again, just probably not in the summer!

Do not stay here. The entire downstairs, where pets can stay, smelled overwhelmingly of animal urine. The carpet leading to the rooms was buckled and clearly had not been cleaned in a while. I'm not sure why the owners thought carpet was a good idea. I've been to dog parks that smell bette--even the Folsom pet hotel. I was literally gagging. Our room so bad; we brought our pup and had to stay in the pet room which was awful. The smell was so terrible it was hard to sleep. In hindsight, we would have been more comfortable sleeping our car. I'm giving this a second star just because the gal working the front desk, Sabrina, was very kind. She tried her best to accommodate us even thought there wasn't much in her control. I recommend staying somewhere else and using the $75 pet fee to board your pup at the Petsmart Hotel on Iron Point.

Room smells terrible, website's shows hot tub and there's is none. If we hadn't arrived around 6 pm we would have left to a different hotel. Not recommended. Terrible place

In comparison to some of their competitors, I'd have to say that Larkspur Landing has much better accommodations here in California. When looking to travel and still have an option to cook your own meals, I would highly recommend them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating: everyine from the front desk to the housekeeping crew have been very helpful. I had some packages delivered for my grandson's birthday and they let me know when the final package arrived. There is a continental breakfast served each morning for those who are interested, and they offer coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water around the clock. There is a business center as well as a fitness facility. The fitness room has just enough equipment to get a full body workout in and all of the equipment is in great condition. The room itself has been very nice, as well. Mini living room with a desk/work area (for laptop and electronics). I was able to meal prep and even make homemade potato salad for my grandson's birthday party. There are dual sinks in the bathroom (for those who need that)...for me it was extra space for all of my toiletries and makeup. There also a basic bathtub that came in handy to soak after a long day. The bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed and large LG TV, where I binged out on watching Food Network and a couple of other channels. Plenty of closet space Last little mention is that they don't charge extra for you to use the laundry facility, so if you're on a budget, that's a plus. If not, they offer laundry services. This location is close to many cool shopping centers (Folsom Outlets are across the street), the Century Theater is in the same parking lot, you've got the Folsom Lake close by, as well as river access super close!Good spot!

This was our second time staying here and it's always been a pleasure but this time was special experience. We were able to check in early and I appreciate that so much. I did used the gym which was nice and quite and fully functional. The star of the show is their breakfast, it was continental buffet style but my kids were just so happy with cereal choices they had. There were mostly all kinds of breads and spreads/ juice/ yogurt etc. they have complimentary water and coffee with hot Chocolate at the front desk which is so nice and welcoming. I want to acknowledge two very special people Alan and Olga cause they saved this mommy's day. I left was purse in a chair during breakfast and didn't realized it until I got a call from Alan. I was so close to loosing my mind but that never happened. I am gonna take it as a a lesson to always remember taking everything with me. Olga, a very nice lady found it while she was cleaning the room and Alan gave me a courtesy call. God bless you guys! Thank you so so much!!We had such a good time staying in one of their balcony rooms. This is always gonna be my favorite place to stay at. There's just so much to do around this place and I will never ever stay anywhere else but here when in Folsom. My kids are already asking me when they can go again.

The first problem was that I tried calling the hotel to let them know that we were going to be in super late to make sure they didn't cancel our room and it literally took me calling repeatedly for 4 FREAKING HOURS before someone actually answered the phone!!! 4 HOURS!!! We started to panic that something was wrong there. When the guy finally answered, he sounded like he had been asleep! He also looked like it when we finally arrived. The bed was absolutely horrible!! It was so lumpy and hard that it took forever to finally fall asleep, and then when we woke up, our backs were killing us! We got in at almost 4 am and were exhausted after a 9 hour long drive, so we just needed to rest. We were there for 3 nights, and every time we went down to the front desk, there was never anyone there! At one point there was some kind of little bug crawling on our bed and the one time we actually found an employee we were waiting at the desk for about 20 minutes just to find the girl had been outside smoking the whole time! We told her repeatedly that we had found a bug of some type crawling on our bed and how the bed was killing our backs, and all she did was give us new sheets and dismiss our complaints. Also, after getting out of the shower and walking across the carpet, the bottoms of our feet were black! This used to be a great hotel, and it's sad to see it like this. Next time we come back, we will be staying next door at the Hilton Garden. The rooms at the Hilton are clean, and their beds are super comfortable.

I really enjoyed the stay here. The suit was clean and very spacious. The free breakfast, although continental, it was not a great selection but that's ok, i wasn't there for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the table and chairs on the balcony were a great win, my husband and i enjoyed the balcony. Not much of a view but still beautiful to enjoy the morning sun.

The hotel is very nice, with a kitchenette and a lot of space in the room. I liked that there was a big table, obviously set up as a desk, but it worked well for eating in front of the TV, as well. The room was clean and comfy, the bed was a little hard, but not beyond expectations. It's never easy to sleep in a hotel. The area outside my room wasn't too noisy, despite the fact that I slept in a bit. When I checked in it DID sound like someone was aggressively moving all the furniture in the room right above me, but the noise didn't repeat itself that night so I was able to sleep.

So we have this suite designed for 6 people (there were four of us). The room came with 3 towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper. We constantly had to go downstairs for more tp and towels. The biggest issue is the parking. There is not enough parking for everyone. When you come in at night there is an upper lot that you can go to. The cars in this upper lot get broken into by thieves. When I was there on the night of 4/1, two cars next to mine got their windows smashed. This hotel is horribly overpriced and in a crime ridden area. I would never come here again.
