If I could put zero stars I would! They are absolutely the most difficult company to deal with. They lowered my coverage without my permission and wouldn’t help me obtain an sr22! I had to cancel my policy today because their customer service is just beyond terrible.

This insurance company is worthless. One of the agents force me to hire and attorney for a hit and run and my car was park! Furthermore, I was involved in a accident where the other party was at fault and they denied my case. At that time I was forced to higher an attorney which turned to be more unprofessional as this company! I'm in process of looking for legal advise. This company is in Breach of their Contract. Calidornia civil code sections 3300-3302 and 3353-3360. Anyone know of any Good Attorney's. Thanks in advance

Rude, condescending, outright low budget insurance group. I filed a grievance with California Board of Insurance complaint due to thier behavior. Highly don't recommend because the way they treat people they will be out of business soon. Allyhondo is about the definition of fake thug. Loud uneducated and full of .....

Awful. Way too expensive and cancelled insurance rather than reaching out for renewal CHARGED over 500 for said “insurance.” Screw this place! Wish I had checked the reviews before using this insurance!!

Ryan Antol is the WORST adjuster and insurance agent of MAPFRE! Even at fault Ryan antol likes to delay the process of claims even after the investigation and estimates are done.. Not professional dealing with customers specially in claims.

Wish I read these reviews before I jumped the gun and got insurance. So inconsistent with what they tell me. First guy I originally talked to gave me a price for insurance start up. Was extraordinary high but I needed insurance asap. Told him I would be shopping around for a cheaper insurance, he said to call before the 28th of the month and cancel if I chose to do so so I wouldn't have to pay the remaining premium balance which was outrageous. I told him I planned to do so. I never got through to talk to anyone on the phone and on the 28th they charged my card $200 without my authorization. Not cool. I emailed them and we went back and forth, me saying what the guy had told me over the phone. Didn't seem to matter to them.

Raised my husbands insurance to over $700 monthly (over a $400/month increase) for one vehicle! He switched to another insurance company & cancelled the policy at Mapfre due to the change and now he owes $500?? We have been trying to call to resolve the issue but no one seems to answer the phone & when he finally got through, he was hung up on. We were in a rush to buy a vehicle & just used an insurance broker at the dealership who set us up with this. Wish we saw the reviews to this much earlier. DO NOT EVER USE THIS INSURANCE!!!

horrible company, charged me a 639 starting fee and I canceled after just two weeks and only got 94 dollars back. they use a number of "fees" to take your money.

I had called cause I got an email saying my policy was canceled, then I was told by a woman that the reinstatement fee was 15 dollars and it would be added to my monthly payment which is 130 so in total it would have been 150, I told her I’d call back once I had the money. When I gathered the money I called back ready to pay and I got directed to a guy that told me the actual reinstatement fee was 100 dollars and I’m total I would pay 260 dollars, when I told the guy what the previous agent had told me, he then changed his mind and told me the price of the reinstatement was 25 dollars, this made me very angry and I ended up switching companies

I had my car hit in a parking lot while parked and unattended. Driver left the scene. Mapfre insisted to file a claim, I had to use the collision (500.00 deductable) portion of my policy instead of the comphensive (zero dedictable) for repairs. After receiving 650.
00 to pay the body shop, they increased my policy 800.00 a year to renew. They didn't understand why I canceled my policy and went elsewhere.

Very bad insurance I had a accident 5 hours ago they haven’t answered there phone am home already and I don’t know what do. Am getting a lawyer tomorrow and after this am changing to a new insurance

I had this insurance for years the moment I terminated them I owe hella money . There isn’t any pro going with this company the Agents do not have relationships with the clients ... I’ll choose another when looking for insurance ... this is definitely not the one .

This specific location isn't my problem. Just the company in general. Would give zero stars if possible. Had insurance for two days they charged me 180 and would only refund me 30. I practically harassed them bc of the unfair refund. Just received word they will sent 80 instead of 30$. Better than 30 I guess. Kinda absurd for only having insurance for two days. Only took two weeks for them to finally contact me back after constantly calling and emailing . Good luck to anyone who had this insurace! Can never get on contact with anyone willing to help. Only issues from the day I signed up.

I got hit by a driver who said he was covered by this insurance company. The policy was in someone else's name but was the current insurance for the vehicle he was driving. I filed a claim with the insurance and was told the claim information would be emailed to me. It never came. The next day I got a call saying that the claim was denied. When asked why, the adjuster was very rude and told me repeatedly that it's not my right to know why. He said a denial letter was being mailed to me. I asked him to email it as well so I could pass it on to my own insurance company. I never received the email and I'm still waiting on the mailed letter. I would never want to deal with this company again. I actually thought it was a fraudulent company until I Googled it. By the reviews I've read, I'm not the only one that's had issues.
