I’d like to start by saying I’ve never left a negative review of anything in my life. I’ve always worked in customer service and If I ever have a bad experience with any type of service I always give the provider the benefit of the doubt. I understand that staff shortages, miscommunications, etc. happen and am never one to complain. But what happened at this location today is unacceptable.I’m 37 weeks pregnant and at risk for pre-eclampsia. Recently my doctor ordered weekly blood work. I couldn’t get an appointment today after my OB visit down the street and decided to go as a standby. I understand that I might have to wait longer than usual as a standby and was prepared for that. After over two hours of waiting I couldn’t hold it anymore and asked one of the phlebotomists if I could use the restroom. About ten minutes after I returned to the lobby I noticed my name was no longer on the standby list on the TV screen. By then there were no names on standby, the lobby was empty except for me, and the screen said there were zero people being helped.I went to the front desk area to see what was going on, even though I hate complaining. I made eye contact three separate times with a phlebotomist walking by before she said she’ll be right with me and a minute later someone came up and asked how they could help me. I politely said I’d been waiting over two hours and didn’t see my name on the standby list anymore. “We called your name a couple times,” she said rudely. Another phlebotomist came up and said “Yeah, no one was out here.” I explained that I’m 37 weeks pregnant and was in the bathroom because I couldn’t hold it anymore, and that I had told another phlebotomist I was in there. “Well, you were in there quite a while,” she said. By then I had started to cry and tried to explain that I was in there less than five minutes. At that point a man had entered the lobby and was having trouble checking in. The phlebotomist I had been speaking to looked past me crying at the front desk to talk to him. I realized I was not going to be helped and turned around and walked out.I understand that miscommunications happen. I wish the phlebotomist who I had told that I was using the bathroom had communicated that to the rest of the staff when they called my name, but I understand things happen. What I find unacceptable is that no solutions were offered to me. No one told me to sign in again as standby, wait a few more minutes before being helped, or even to come back another day. I was standing there crying waiting to see if they would see me today and they ignored me and started helping someone else standing behind me. I became so frustrated that I left because I didn’t want to verbally abuse anyone.I also felt attacked when the employee tried to argue that I was in the bathroom for a long time when I was not. Am I not allowed to use the bathroom after waiting over two hours while pregnant? Again, I would not have had a problem if they had offered me a solution instead of just ignoring me. Now I’ve wasted two and a half hours and have to make an appointment at another location out of my way because I am definitely not going there again.

My experience at Quest Diagnostics was terrible. The receptionist, who was rather impolite, insisted on making me wait for over an hour. The staff here is incredibly inconsiderate, wasting your time without any regard. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the rude receptionist to file a formal complaint. I strongly advise against using Quest Diagnostics, especially not this branch.

Took my blind son in as walk in early so I could get him back to school, and we waited for an hour only not to be seen. Mind you, during that time we had a good 15-20 min where there were no appts coming in and we still didn’t get seen. She was rude when I got a number from kiosk to get help as to why we were waiting so long. Told me to make an appt, even though they take walk in’s. Trying to make an appt online doesn’t work, you have to cal the automated system, which than can barely understand you when you try to them your last name and nothing available at the right time for at least two weeks now!

There lunch hours are from 1130 to 1230p every day. You can't find this info on the recorded operation hours. Just a heads up if ur going to visit

There’s no excuse for not being able to get a blood test within 7 days. Appointments are consistently not available in the nearest week, and zero time appears to be budgeted in to see walk-ins, who sit around for hours on end and are periodically erased from the walk-in list due to “communications issues”. No reception staff at all! Older people are really struggling with the electronic check-in, and no one is available to help but the patients behind them in line. The people who are working front end here are nice, but whoever runs this company needs to have a reality check.

Hours of waiting and limited appointment time slots available. This is the worst possible experience. I feel sorry for the front line workers in the location having to deal with such influx of people too.Quest needs to improve the facilities

This place is very unprofessional! I been waiting for 45 min with an appointment & they took all the non appointments first before me. I came in early so I can get out early. Super rude staffing here. Like wth definitely not coming back here. If you are going to take non appointments before me what's the point of making any appointments.

Doctor ordered labs for me at Quest on Iron Point. I checked in and 25 minutes later a very rude employee named Lucy asked if I had an appointment. I said the doctor sent my paperwork here. She said she could not help me as they were going out to lunch at 1130. Mind you I have been here since 1045 and have been waiting 25 minutes. I asked this very rude person, Lucy why she couldn't tell me when I 1st walked in and she said she didn't know I was here. She only saw me in the lobby thr 5 times she came out there and saw that I had checked in 25 minutes early. I normally have great interactions with the staff there and this was the 1st time I ever saw here there. Lucy is in the wrong type of work and Lucy needs to find another type of work away from dealing with actual people.

I love the Folsom facility on Prairie City Road. I always make an appointment and this facility is well staffed and clean. They get you back to a room at your appointment time. The staff is friendly, and let you know what is happening every step of the way. They verify your information several times to make certain they have the correct person that matches the paperwork or computer test orders. I have veins that wiggle and move but this staff always get the vein the first time. They talk you through the process if you need that. The facility is very clean. The check-in process is easy. Once I walked in without an appointment because I was in the area, I didn't wait more than 8 minutes. This particular Quest is very professional and respectful of your time as a patient. Someone greets you when they hear the door ding and they usually help people who are not familiar with the check-in kiosk.

They're amazing and quick! Went in with both of my kiddos and only one of the appointments was showing up (totally my fault) but Micheal fit my daughter in anyway saving me the time to book another appt. and driving back another day. It was the end of the day even so I was surprised and super appreciative! Saved me! Will be using them in the future.

Waiting is awkward due to the fact they have conflict in the app ,and their internal process to call in for your appointment

Visiting Prairie City Quest today, I was 13 mins late to my 4:10 appointment. I was the their last appointment of the day. Site lead, Lucy and Technician Autumn were nice enough yet though they could have helped me, they chose not to.

This location is the best I've ever been to. Before I recently moved to Folsom, I would drive 30 minutes to this location. No wait, phlebotomists are super friendly and professional. Had a very good experience today as well with super friendly, funny technician, that will put you at ease even if you're nervous about needles (I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name, the lady with lots of small tattoos and a small stud piercing on her face.) She was great! Fast, painless and very friendly and talkative, which I didn't see much at other locations, technicians were miserable and grumpy. Thank you!

I was 2 minutes late from my appointment and waited 45 minutes and my name was on the screen I thought everything looks good but after 45 minutes a Lady came and said we can’t take you because our schedule is full for this morning. She was B never listened to me.
