Owner of a new Hot Tub purchased from the Folsom location. Scott was wonderful in providing all the details, recommendations, and education on the tubs available. There were many phone calls and emails prior to me coming in to purchase and he was always fast to respond with all my questions and concerns. The purchasing process was seamless, quick and flexible. Lastly wanted to also recognize Christian, the water care expert. He is very thorough on his instructions, giving explanations and importance of the care. He traveled to my house and adjusted another appointment to assure he had enough time to teach me the ins and outs of caring for my tub.I would recommend anyone thinking of a purchase to stop in and see Scott in Folsom!

They always have what we need and are helpful with issues and provide answers if need be. Pretty much all you can ask and they even alert us to deals on things we might need every so often.

I had a few issues feeling like I wasn't communicated with, and I spent a lot of hard earned money with them. Things eventually got resolved, but it left me with some less than 100% positive feelings. However, once my concern was voiced, things got better and service has been exemplary since then. I really enjoy my hot tub (yes, salt water is better!), but find it a tad awkward to get in and out of. Test before you buy!!!!! And make sure the areas where you really want jets are covered. I should have done better research, but overall I am really happy with my tub and the service I have since received.

My husband and I stopped by The Hot Tub Store and really liked the selection but were shopping around and also went to the Cal Expo spa sale. We officially bought from The Hot Tub Store for several reasons. Price, quality, selection and excellent customer experience. Scott was so patient , honest, and when I explained our budget we found the perfect fit for us, including a great service plan! The cal expo show was overpriced in comparison for a non brand name spa. The sales people didn’t even try to answer our questions. I am truly grateful there are folks like Scott and Christian who made our purchase experience a great success!!! Five star rating for this Folsom, CA store! If you’re in need of some self care in 2024, you won’t regret going to The Hot Tub Store for a treat your body will love ❤️. Gladys

When entering the store, I was warmly greeted by the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They exhibited a genuine passion for their products and Scott was eager to assist me in finding the hot tub that best suited my needs. What struck me most was their commitment to ensuring I had all the information necessary to make an informed decision. Highly recommend coming into the store for first time buyers and ask for Scott!

I recently purchased a Caldera spa from the Folsom store. Patrick and his crew were great to work with. The delivery crew did a great job getting my tub into a challenging spot without causing any damage to my tub or my house.

Hi, I don't often write reviews about restaurants and companies. But I am VERY motivated to write about The Hot Tub Store." I have primarily been working with Scott at the Folsom store. Whenever I make a large purchase, I do a lot of homework and check out all or most of the options available. I knew that Hot Springs was a great brand. But I wasn't sure that I could afford one. I've dealt with a lot of sales people through the years and I found Scott to be the probably the best one I've had the pleasure to deal with yet! I went to so many different stores and brands. The most frustrating part of the search is that I kept getting contradictory and often incorrect information about Hot Tubs and Their Features. THat is SO INFURIATING! Scott was someone I came back to again and again and always got an honest answer that I could trust. Even when I said I didn't think I could afford a Hot Spring, he still offered to answer my questions and was so trustworthy. At the end of my search I found myself angered by most of the other hot tub places out there. I wanted to go with a Hot Spring but didn't think I could afford it! Scott worked with me and we found something within my budget and a good payment plan that made it possible. And when I needed chemicals from another store (West Sacramento), they stayed open later for me so that I could get my last items so I could fire up my tub for the first time! The staff there are amazing. The set up was flawless. When the Owners manual didn't arrive with the tub, I got two copies of it delivered the very next day! A-1 Customer service!! Thanks Hot Tub Store and Thanks to Scott and the Staff at the West Sacramento Store. I made the right choice and I enthusiastically recommend that YOU do the same! I got a Pace Model and it is sweet! :-)

Do not buy this brand, absolute poor build quality with even worse customer service. Lets start with the begining... Upon delivery, the team scuffed up the side installing, not bad enough to make a big deal of it but this was only the start of all the issues. Delivery was supposed to be done and all products needed, like filters, this was not the case. Filters came the next day by someone from the store who had no idea how to install them. Again no big deal... but it keeps adding up. The none moving jets would be found in the bottom of the hot tub from falling off, not from use but from the hot tub turning its daily self clean on and the jet would pop off. The solution for that is drain the tub, waste all the water you just put in and heated. Then use silicone to hold the jet where it belongs.... or call and pay the warrenty copay everytime one falls off, which so far my copay has ranged between 79 and 150 dollars with no explaination as to why im paying for their faulty product. The salt system has never worked. We did have a warrenty gentleman come out who was fantastic, he had to mess with the system for about a half hour and finally got it working right. 2 days later with no use and evrything set up, the salt system failed again. Multiple trim pieces have fallen off from around the tub, and when inspected, virtually no glue found and staples no where near deep enough penetration to hold the trim. The waterfall stopped working and the dial to adjust the waterfall amount squeels like an old trucks bad fan belt. Every now and then the hot tub will go into "protection mode" claiming the filters need to be cleaned and unobstructed. This can happen randomly even after brand new filters have been placed on with nobody ever getting in, all levels proper and a couple days later. The fix for this has always been to turn the breaker off/on. Unfortunately this last time the message remains rendering the hot tub useless. We have had a string of non stop problems from this product, if it was a car it would have been lemon lawed and taken back. Because its a hot tub the amount of money required for "warrenty work" is unrelenting and a nightmare. DO NOT BUY FROM THE HOT TUB STORE!

I bought a hot tub at an Expo and got NO help on set up (first time hot tub owner) and no one would return a call. We found The Hot Tub Store and they were incredibly helpful in helping us get the right chemicals for start up! I wish I had found them sooner but they will definitely be my resource going forward!

Just got hot tub delivered today. Excellent Service, sales people, technicians, and delivery service. Worth every penny. The estimated delivery date was accurate.Have yet to connect the hot tub and test it out thou.

Update: our hot tub was delivered a few days ago. During our initial visit to purchase many things weren’t explained to us, such as additional costs. There was an additional delivery cost of $850 because we have 8 stairs. This information was never shared upon purchase. On top of this we used a recommended company to make a concrete slab for our hot tub. The piping with the electrical was supposed to be installed in a specific corner however when the hot tub was delivered we discovered it was in the wrong corner and now our hot tub faces the wrong direction. Kind of a bummer when your dropping that much money.Original post: Scott is friendly and knowledgeable. Our experience was positive and easy. Satisfied customers here.

FINALLY! FINALLY!! FINALLY!!! Two and a half years later, our spa panels are properly interlocked with no bulges or gapping openings!!! 9/26/23- Service Rep Chuck came to our house a little after 4pm. He had the last few panels needed to finish up the repair job. He even relocated the air vent that allows the motor to cool from being pressed into insulation at the top of the panel, to the bottom of the panel where the motor is actually located. Two plus hours later, he is done!! Thank you Chuck -- 5 s!! WAHOO!!! P.S. Rumor has it that THTS no longer sells Artesian Spas. Hmmm ... I wonder why?!?
