Large selection of beauty options here. Initially just planned to get some bobby pins from here (as was recommended by the hotel reception when I asked them), but found several items I was interested in and when I tried them and found them to be absolutely quality items I came back later to buy some more for my girlfriends back home in Australia. Highly recommended. Very clean and vast beauty store, staff checked in if I needed help but also allowed me space to browse without bothering me unnecessarily. Noticed a salon at the back of the store too. Happy to recommend this place for your beauty needs.

I had my hair done by Sierra in the salon at the Folsom location. She did a great job with gray blending/low lights. Highly recommend!

In a total of eight minutes in the store, three different sales associates asked if I needed assistance. Once while I was being assisted but she assumed we were just two people plotting to steal all the lipstick inside as she didn’t see her apron. This overly aggressive approach at managing theft is intrusive. I was only in there for a few minutes as it was sooo uncomfortable being followed. Then at the register the sale associate recounted my four items four times. This is an anti-theft technique to ensure nothing is swapped at the counter. I’ve worked in retail, this is not how you treat customers. I will never shop at Ulta again. I get it, people steal but whatever corporate training they are pushing is pushing your customers away.

I last minute decided to get my eyebrows done here while I was shopping. I was able to get squeezed in for an eyebrow wax from Megan! She was so nice ,so thorough and fast! 10 out of 10! The best my eyebrows have ever looked

Traci is a Hair Stylist in the Hair Salon in Ulta on Iron Point. Folsom.
I’ve recently moved here and lucky to have found Traci. She is a fantastic hair stylist. I’ve been several times. She is punctual ,doesn’t rush, and is careful with your hair. Listens to your hair concerns.
Traci has touched up my roots and blended the rest beautifully.
Hair looks and feels terrific when she is done.
I highly recommend Traci.

The customer service at this Ulta is the worst I’ve ever seen. All the employees I’ve encountered are rude and standoffish. They never offer help or attempt to be friendly to their customers. Also, whenever I try to do curbside pickup I’ve had to wait 30+ minutes or they just refuse to bring the order out despite being given that option on the app.

Avoid at all cost. This is the worst Ulta by far that I’ve ever had to endure. Their customer service is non-existent. For the markup the charge on all their products you think they could train there employees better .👎🏽👎🏽

Horrible customer service. This location in particular is extremely unprofessional with pushing their Ulta credit card.
I am always hassled at this location, however, today I was asked FOUR times in a row if I was “really sure” I didn’t want their credit card after clearly stating “NO” every single time I was asked.
I highly recommend taking your business somewhere else where the word “no” is understood, at least by the third or fourth time and you’re respected as customer clearly communicating.
I’m not sure if it’s poor management at this location in particular, but save yourself a headache from a very unpleasant check out experience.
