Occasionally swing by this branch for their atm. Parking is always available, and atm is never busy. Updated to the newer 200 bill atm which is wayyyyy better than the stupid 30 bill ones they used to have. Will update review if I ever go inside, but for now will stick with 4. On East Bidwell: My wife and I are retired and have been Wells Fargo customers before time. This specific branch is top notch in customer service, knowledge, and professionalism. They have helped us with many varied financial issues and have never failed our needs. Trust is a big word for bank customers & this branch meets that need. No, we do NOT work for Wells Fargo!

Let me count the way Wells Fargo failed with a single transaction. I deposited 2 checks into the ATM at the same time, which the ATM said it could handle. The ATM was not able to see check 2 under check 1, so it only credited my account for 1 check even though the receipt showed part of check 2 in the image. 1)I called the branch as soon as they opened. They said they couldn't help since the ATMs are serviced by a separate department. ("Not my department." Excellent customer service statement). What's the point of having a branch if they can't help you? 2) ATM claims dept said they would handle it in 10 business days. 3) 10 days passed, they gave me a provisional credit for check 2 at that time. I'm glad I wasn't desperate for the money! 4) They sent a letter saying I needed to send them copues of the 2 checks, or they may revoke my provisional credit. The checks were written against a Wells Fargo account, which I stated many times! I gave them the check writers' info (which can be seen on the first check image). They could have easily seen the images on the debit side of this transaction 5) I called many times to help them fix this and asked to speak with a manager. Obviously, none were available, but they would call me back in 1-2 business days. 5 days later, I called again, only for them to let me know everything was cleared up and the deposit was finalized a few days prior. Nice of them to not call and let me know. 6) I asked that the mobile app allow deposits over $5K, which I have been asking for for the last 5 years or more. They said it isn't allowed, even though other banks and brokerages allow massive single deposits. I asked what would have happened if I had deposited two $100 bills and one was stuck to the other. No one cared to answer that one. So many other issues with this place, but they aren't worth my time. Anyone have suggestions for a better bank? Seems like they are all equally garbage these days.

I've probably been to this location hundreds of times. I was a Wells Fargo customer for the last 19 years, and this was my home branch for most of those. I originally opened my account during move-in week at college, when I was only 17. Wells Fargo was offering free checking accounts for college students, and they had the most ATMs of any bank on campus.Over the years, my free college checking morphed into all kinds of other free checking and savings accounts. Sometimes my account was free if I maintained a minimum balance. Sometimes it was free if I had direct deposit. In the past, bankers had always worked with me to make sure my account could stay free somehow. During the pandemic, of all times, Wells Fargo decided to make free checking less accessible. So, last week, after opening a free checking account elsewhere, I finally came in to close my account. When I came in, the computer system was down. The teller told me that none of the bankers would be able to do anything for me, but that I could do that over the phone, using the 1-800 number.I was like, oh, okay. I guess I expected someone to at least try to stop me from closing my account. So, I returned home, and did it over the phone. I was surprised how easy it was. It was almost as if the bankers were accustomed to people leaving in droves lately.Anyway, this location is older, and is less bright, shiny, and clean, as opposed to other Wells Fargo locations I've been to over the years. There is often a wait, although it's not usually more than 5-10 minutes. In spite of all of that, the customer service has usually been good. There are a few tellers who have worked here for ages, and really seem to love their jobs. The location is very convenient, being near Target, Dick's, Wal-Mart, Chipotle, and several other retail stores and restaurants. Parking lot is huge, and there are three outdoor ATMs, as well as two indoor ATMs that have the ability to dispense $1 and $5 bills.

I am always surprised at the excellent customer service when I visit this branch and this review is long over due. Julia was very competent and friendly helping us open accounts for our teenagers once they turned 16 and needed their own atm cards. She explained everything in detail and at the same time was efficient with our time. Mauricio helped me this week when I needed to get a cash withdrawal done that was more than the daily amount allowed at a branch. He was so friendly and positive and creative. He got right on the phone to another branch close by and confirmed they could give me 1/2 the amount I needed and then taking care of the other 1/2 for me nice and quick. I am happy I live close to this branch and can count on them with any of my banking needs.

Very pleased with customer care I have received today from Julia at this branch. I called when they opened to learn about their notary services. Julia was able to fit me into her schedule the same morning. She was very helpful & knowledgeable with the whole notary process. I am really pleased with the service.(PS. I called Fed Ex and they charge 15$ for signature, and here I didn't have to pay anything)

Opened an account in this location a few years ago. They can't service the account there or in person anywhere now; only over the phone and online. I asked for a physical mailing address and the lead teller or manager told me that there was not one, and that all written communication could only be sent online.I've asked for the disclosure notice about the change in my ability to manage my account in a physical branch office several times now. I asked in both the branch office, as well as verbally and in writing with the Wells Fargo Executive Office Team. Apparently, their team's analysts are as high as one can go internally, but they did not follow up with me the first few inquiries. Finally, they sent me unrelated files back in response! If you try to speak with a supervisor there, they will not take the call or return it; I tried twice weeks ago now and still no call back. All of this and I've been a customer since 1992, and had multiple accounts and loans through Wells F*#@!. Never again. My wife, kids, parents and aunt are all moving banks now.

I'm blind I just needed a Little compassion understanding and a seat indoors while waiting to order a ride to come pick me up but they couldn't give me a a seat they said because of Covid LOL that is simply ridiculous I guess they don't understand that people get robbed all the time like I have been to many times before because they see my white cane LOL then I can't even tell the police what they look like where they went or how many of them there were how sad I've never been treated so badly at one of my own banks before

This is the worst bank ever. The managers are condescending when speaking to you. They speak to you like you are children. The heavy set woman tried to detract from a difficult situation by complimenting my friend on her shirt over & over again! It was obvious she thought her fake words would sway her. But my friend didn't fall for her bull s**** The russian manager claimed the system wouldn't allow him to waive a cashiers check fee after the teller recommended that I had enough of a direct deposit from my employer to allow for other 'perks' of a different account. He was just lazy & did not want to change my account because he would not have received his bonus just for a conversion account. I'm so glad the teller was genuine & I insisted to have the account converted. After all this trouble I can't wait to march back in there & close my accounts & move everything to Chase.

This is seriously the best bank I've ever been to. The people here are so nice and polite. It's never very busy. I'll seriously drive an extra 10 min to go to this bank over others.

This Wells Fargo location is smaller than the large branch on Bidwell and offers outstanding customer service. It offers two ATM's outside and provides individual and business banking services. Only thing holding this place back from the big 5-stars is the lack of parking! the lot can be busy around lunch due to all the nearby eateries!
