Don't bring your lawn mower here. They used USED PARTS TO REPAIR. First, they are not very customer friendly or communicative. I brought my mower in to have a part changed that costs $10 at Home Depot and also to get a tune-up. They left me a message my mower was ready and charged me $65 without even doing the service. They installed a used part, which he told me because he didn't have any new pull cords and said i had to pay before doing a service first. I reminded him he was supposed to do the service to begin with. He said he didn't remember but I can still do service after I pay and hell charge $180 only for service if I pay CASH. This made me mad and I took it some where else. But this guy is a rip off.

So we actually just stopped by my husband and I own a landscape business and we were in the area due to an appointment my husband was passing by and decided to stop and ask about some equipment got a very awkward feeling from the guy. The guy had many ride on lawn mowers out but Said that none were for sale he only had 2 new ones when most of them were clearly used only one looked new and wanted to charge 8000 for a used lawn mower. He then proceeded to look at our car and look at my husband like we were gonna run off with a lawn mower in the back of my Honda? I don't know how he stays in business but I tell you what he needs to learn some people skills.

0 stars, this was my 2nd time coming to this business as a local customer living nearby. Being in the landscape business for 25+ years I knew his prices were more than average, BUT I was still okay with helping out a local business and giving them my money. My first visit the owner was rude and didn't care to have any sort of customer service. I thought to my self, you know what maybe he's just having a bad day. Today I figured I'd give it another try and give him my business once again. I walk in friendly and not only does he ignore a simple conversation he is just plain rude and has NO care for customer service. Just as I was thinking of bringing in multiple pieces of equipment to get serviced he quickly reminded as to why this was my LAST visit to his business after asking him a simple question and getting it answered with attitude as if I was stupid. Do your self the favor and take your business elsewhere. Cause this place does not value its customers, after seeing all these bad reviews maybe the owner can realize what puts food on his table and learn to treat customers with some respect and value their business. Good customer service goes a LONG way.

Rip-off artists. Took my Sears lawnmower to them in hopes they could help solve my grass catcher problem. I had the "catcher" frame, but the bag ripped open and duct tape wasn't helping anymore. The guy charges me $42 for an estimate, and I had to leave it overnight because it was close to closing time. He calls me the next morning at 9:58 stating my estimate was ready. $138 to tune-up the lawnmower and he cannot fix my catcher problem because Sears went out of business. Wow, he wants to tune up a lawnmower that does not need tuning and shares the earth shattering news that Sears went out of business. Wow, since my lawnmower states CRAFTSMAN on both sides of the engine, he knew immediately he could not order a bag from Sears - that's precisely why I brought the lawnmower to them in the first place - but he kept the $42 anyway. Wow, what a rip-off artist! Last thing he says to me is "see you in court" ... that comment tells me he rips people off all the time. So do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment at all costs because there are plenty of reputable lawnmower shops in and around the general vicinity - A1 Power Equipment not being one of them.

I took my Stihl MS250 in because it wouldn’t start! This saw has a total of 5 minutes run time and being a Stihl I had a hard time believing it wouldn’t run! After paying $42 for a “Diagnostic Test”, I was called with an estimate of $186 more to rebuild the carb, clean the exhaust port and put in a new spark plug! I declined the service because as I explained to the tech, it’s not getting any spark. I brought it home went on YouTube to find out about the ignition coil. It states it has to be gapped to .008. Removed 4 bolts, loosened 2 more, set the gap to .008 and put it back together! The saw started on the second pull! I advise everyone to challenge their quotes especially if you have any basic understanding of small engines!

I brought in my 5 minute run time Stihl MS250 chainsaw for not starting! I explained to the tech that it wasn't getting spark to ignite the fuel! I paid $42 for a diagnosis and received a call an hour later stating it needed the carb rebuilt, exhaust port cleaned and a new spark plug for and addition $186.00!!!! I declined the repair because being a Brand New Stihl it didn't need any of that! I brought it home YouTubed ignition problems! I removed 4 bolts and loosened 2 more, set the ignition coil gap to .008 and put it all back together. It started on the 2nd pull! This place is terrible and should be avoided unless buying a Brand New Product, take your repairs elsewhere! I wish I had read other reviews before going there, this place was so much better in the 90's. SMH business treats people like their idiots!
