Rooms: King size bed w/couch. Was quiet even though close to elevator. Good curtain which kept light out. This contributes to good nights sleep.
Food and drinks: Within walking distance of Starbucks and decent Thai restaurant.

Area seems safe. You will be given a parking permit to place in your car upon checkin. Don’t come in with your hands full only to go right back outside.
Courtyard is always a rub for me. Most Marriott brands offer complimentary breakfast. It bothers me that they don’t here, and the cafe prices are not a great value for what you receive. Complimentary coffee in the lobby would go a long way.
The room was clean, I did find a dirty, torn rag that must have fallen out of the maintenance cart on my floor upon arrival. Otherwise, everything was great in the room.
Mini fridge kept my leftovers cold and the AC worked perfectly. Location and proximity to parking were also excellent.
Room is a bit dated, some older furnishings and side table that looked worn but everything was in working order.
Mobile keys worked great here but once used, my regular room key stopped working. Door had a decent gap which I was able to partly remedy by placing a towel along the floor.
Overall the experience was good, I just wish it were a bit closer to the major freeways. It’s off the beaten path in a business/industrial area but was packed as the lobby was full of business travelers during the happiest hours of the day.

Great hotel especially for business stay in the area. No busy area, relatively quiet but we'll connected. Rooms are spacious and equipped "standard Courtyard way". Gym open 24/7, small clean swimming pool available. Great avocado toast for breakfast.

I stayed at Courtyard Foothill Ranch for the 2nd time in mid August for a sneakerhead meetup down in Costa Mesa and continue to be impressed. Everyone is super friendly and approachable. I screwed up when getting set up in my room and they were gracious, patient, and put my mind at ease.
My room was clean, bed was super comfy, and I love the blackout curtains. I also like that this location continues to offer a "Pure Room" option - as someone who's COVID conscious due to vulnerable family, and deals with allergies it's nice that I can travel confidently over a longer distance knowing that a HEPA air purifier will be in the room and running when I arrive along with the other allergy friendly perks of the Pure Room. For anyone at the Courtyard reading this - please don't get rid of the Pure Rooms - it's so important and, aside from the great service, a huge reason why I stay here each year.
I do wish the TV had more options like streaming apps like other Marriott's I've stayed at, but I was totally fine using my phone to keep busy when I wasn't out exploring California!
A level 2 EV charger would also be nice to see since a lot of rentals are still EV's in California but fast chargers aren't too far away!
I also like the area, it's very safe, parking is easy and there's plenty to do nearby and in LA.
I'll definitely be back next August!
Safety: I felt very safe here, the parking lot is well lit and it's in a nice, upscale, area.
Walkability: There's some restaurants like a Pizza shop and Thai place at the strip mall located in the same lot as the hotel.
Noteworthy details: Hotel offers a Pure Room option that includes a HEPA purifier - perfect for allergy and covid conscious travelers.

They overbook sometimes and force you to use another hotel as a result of their own incompetence.

Nice, clean hotel with super friendly service. Location is good. There are several good locations within walking distance, an Orange Theory, and even a trail that goes quite far if you want to go that far. There isn't a Smart TV or even a way to watch anything streaming which isn't typically my experience with a Marriott. Not a complaint, just an observation. The pool is nice and big and so is the hot tub. I'll definitely be back.

The rooms are nice but they don’t have smart tvs so stuck with local channels which only seem to be news channels. Everything else was great!

They need to up date the carpet and think about a free breakfast. The restaurant there serves an expensive menu. Thankfully, there is a Starbucks in walking distance. Room walls were thin.

David is great he is the night auditor and he’s very kinds and patient and understanding he builds a great conversation while everything is being processed. I appreciate Marriott for choosing wisely on their employees and Davis is one of them ??

The water in the showers were amazing, and the beds were very comfy. We were going a soccer tournament, and this hotel's location was perfect.
