I used to bank with Eagle Community and never had any issues until I got sick. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018. Unfortunately, during my surgery and recovery I had to get on disability. Long story short, the state severely messed up my disability and I stopped getting checks in the middle of my recovery from a double mastectomy. I got behind on all my bills including my car note and negative in my bank account that I had with them. I only had a little over $4000 left to pay on my car (started at around $20,000). I called and spoke with them on many of occasions explaining my situation and asking them to please give me some time due to the situation. I was not able to drive at the time. On my way home from a doctors appointment that a friend had taken me to, to my surprise and shock, we passed my car on the back of a tow truck!!! Repossessed!!! I was heart broken!! It is horrible to me that considering the situation and having such a small amount left to pay (starting at around $20,000) and only having $4000 left) that they could of worked with me on all of this. Not kick me when I was down!!! I spoke with quite a few people after this happened and they refused to do anything to help me!!

Eagle Community is amazing. I learned of them when I got my first auto loan with them. They had the best interest rate compared to the competition approvals. I in turn referred 2 of my children and am referring others soon. I also just got a 2nd auto loan with them with an amazing rate! The cash back checking acct offered is filled with rewards! Michael Tran is who helped me whom we built a great rapport with turns out he is a comic fan just like us!! He explained the details of what the membership entails and answered all questions! It was great! Thank you Michael Tran! Eagle Community is lucky to have you!

Jacob went above and beyond and made me feel like I was his only client! He got me the lowest rate possible! Do not start your buying experience through the dealerships! Go direct to Eagle before ever stepping foot into a dealership! Get your pre approval letter in hand and then stand your ground against the dealer!

Went in today and setup my new accounts with Eagle. Jacob did an excellent job taking care of me at the El Toro branch. Phenomenal customer service... best quality care for new members... Jacob was over the top in service!!! Greatest credit union I ever dealt with. 5 stars all the way!

Edit to my earlier review I was contacted by Carol from Eagle Community Credit Union, she was very professional ,understanding and thoroughly investigate my complaint before I spoke with her. Carol looked at the time lines-and made a common sense decision to refund the money back to my account I'm very grateful for her assistance and how quickly my concerns were addressed.Thank you Carol for the excellent customer service and going above and beyond to address my concerns.Original review:If I can give them a -0 I would let me start off by saying I support Credit Unions. I started with this branch in Placentia California it was moved to the worst location in the world Anaheim every time I go to the ATM I feel like I'm getting ready to get mugged. But with all that aside I stuck with Eagle Credit Union. One of the first few encounters that caused me to move my savings to my other bank was they do didn't approve the transfer of funds from my savings to my checking and allowed a very important check to bounce over a holiday weekend and of course they don't have Automatic banking you have to actually download the app and hope that it works correctly or go to the ATM their ATM mind you because even cash gets held 3 to 6 days when not deposited in their ATM. The last straw I moved money from my Checking to Savings and choose the wrong account ..... my son's account so I called thinking oops I made a mistake let me call the bank so they can reverse this (mind you I call less than 3 mins after transaction to let them know of mistake) I was told that there's nothing that can be done. I asked if I come down to the office to show you it's really me and the money needs to go back to my account the rep told me she spoke with her supervisor and once the money is moved they can't go into the account to moved it back..... can't you just delete the transaction... No....... Nothing we can do. So the only option I have is wait for my sons return in Six months so he can move money back to my account. And before you ask NO I CAN'T CONTACT MY SON FOR SIX months. RUN DO NOT WALK AWAY FROM THIS CREDIT UNION JOIN ANY OTHER BUT THIS ONE!!!!!!!!

Love this office. All tellers and managers are always here to help and have such a great attitude. If there are more than 3-4 people in line esp during the rush hour times like lunch or after work time managers will come out and help people waiting in line. The office is small but does its job. The last time I was there I needed to replace my lost ATM card. The whole process took less than 15mins. Another great reason why I like using credit unions instead of large banks. Hopefully they will do away with overdraft fees.

Applied for a first time Auto Loan of only $4,000.00 willing to put over 50% down payment. They are not upfront about the minimum guidelines when applying this loan so you get your hopes up. They took 3 days to deny this small loan and now have a hit on the credit report. Good luck in getting any money from them.

I had to sign-up on Yelp so that I could write an excellent review for this credit union. Although Eagle is a smaller credit union, their service is exceptional and really makes their customers feel like they are a priority and not just a number. My overall banking experience with Eagle has always been amazing, but their consumer loan team, especially manager Krystina Laufou, offers superior service!!! Quick to respond, extremely helpful and Krystina gives her customers that one-on-one attention and puts their minds at ease. I could not be happier with them. Please consider Eagle Community Credit Union for your banking needs. You will not be disappointed!!!!
