Their customer service is phenomenal. This is a company that cares about their clients. We as human beings need to learn how to shed grace. They care about what they do. We worked with Dennis and Jamie and have nothing but good things and positive relationships with the staff. Everyone has a learning curve. Customer service is not always easy but if you know how to be human and admit what you don’t understand, read your contracts, ask your questions, I hilighly feel as a society any customer service issue can be resolved. They are true professionals and lead with empathy. Thank you for helping us with our second home! Owning 7 acres of land is the best feeling everrrrrrr. My husband is current active duty Air Force. We have heard horror stories with VA loans. Loan depot made the whole process easy. Thank you again!

I tried to deal with these people but review what they send you!
It will not be what they told you!
Called me 4 times back to back to back to back !
That made my decision easy not to trust them!
They wanted over 50k in cost to refi a loan to a higher rate!
And add mortgage insurance of 500 a month!
No thanks!
I ran away!

God help you the moment after the loan funds and your loan is imediately sold and LD services it afterwards. THAT'S WHEN YOU SERIOUSLY START TO QUESTION YOUR DECISION AND....OOOPS TO LATE YOU'RE SO SCREWED.

I have NEVER EVER done business with your company .. EVER .. yet somehow someway you have too much of my PII apparently. You got hacked in January 2024 in a encryption randomware attack and my information was compromised. NICE JOB !!! I got an letter date stamped Feb 2024 ... Not in Feb .. the week of March 18. Don't blame the USPS .. this is yet another example of your corporate incompetence. 1+ month after the Feb 2024 date in the letter to register for (yet another) credit monitoring service. The deadline for registration is the end of this month. Pathetic ...

The loan officer Max didn't mention points at the beginning to secure the lower rate. However, the Loan Estimate (LE) included over $5000 worth of points to get a 2.25% rate, whereas another lender (Rocket Mortgage) offered 2.375% without any points. Consequently, I am no longer interested in conducting business with LoanDepot, and wouldn't recommend them to others in the future.

My loan officer David Herrera was excellent. He provided great info on my loan options and was very knowledgeable. David is very personable and made me feel that he’s really cared about me and my decision. He wasn’t pushy at all. I made the decision to go with Loan Depot only because of him. He did an outstanding job!

Previous communication was not as helpful as I had hoped. But since the Pandemic Loan Depot has been a major contributor to our surviving this extremely difficult and challenging time. Thank you beyond words.

DO NOT USE LOAN DEPOT!!!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE & they made a huge mistake on our paperwork!! However the "Rent-a-Closer" guy rushed us through the paperwork & just had us sign super fast to get us done & out. Obviously, he knew there would be errors in contract & therefore wouldn't let us read any of the paper!!!! Horrible! Then when we Recast to pay off half the loan EARLY, it took TWO MONTHS!!!! It's Never taken that long to recast!! They just hung on to our cash for 2 months for the extra interest. They then Fed Ex'd recast papers to the wrong home (we have 2 homes) after specifically indicating where to send it, & it was done at the last minute after i complained how long unit was taking to simply do a recast!! It was impossible to get a person "live" on the phone too!! we have been so unhappy with Loan Depot that we ended up just paying off the loan in 3 years. WILL NEVER USE LOAN DEPOT AGAIN!!! The WORST!! They are so short staffed errors happen!!!!!!!!!!!!
