Elkhorn General Store is a small but great store in Forest Falls, providing everything you could possibly need in the middle of nowhere. It is the only store in the area, located just up the road from the trail. It has all the basics for a general store, plus some, with a daunting variety of inventory. This includes drinks and candy like Cherry Coke, M&M's, KitKat, and Twix, as well as sodas, mixers, frozen food, jerky, Thrift ice cream, snacks, reasonably priced snow boots, emergency goods, and adventure passes. The people that work there are wonderful, providing loved service. It is a pricey but amazing one-stop shop.
Baffled that people review this store, the only one of it's kind in a 20 miles radius, as having high prices. They are actually more than reasonable considering the location.

Go grab some much needed water and electrolytes after your hike. Perhaps beforehand if you didn't plan on the hike. Just up the road from the trail, after the fire station on the right side. Parking is across the street from the store. Has all the basics for a general store, plus some.
