Paid 117$ for a tree I had to cut down myself and on Christmas eve we discovered it was infested with Conifer aphids. Do not buy any trees from here unless you check them first. I'm very disturbed

Waste of a day and gas money. We went the day after they opened for the season 11/25/2023 and walked the property for over an hour (going deep off the trails) and couldn't find a single half decent tree (even with low standards). I'm pretty sure they cut all the good ones and sell them at a premium $$$ at the road. If you pay to cut one, the minimum cost is $69 and good lucky finding anything good. The whole family was upset by the time we got back to the car. We left empty handed. The tree "farm" aka some forested property is not properly managed. They don't thin the trees so you might have 3 trees growing within 2 feet of each other and it's impossible to get a good shaped tree that way. They also don't remove any of the stumps so there are tripping hazards everywhere. I saw no evidence of newly planted trees anywhere so sadly I don't have hope for many good trees in years to come. (Yes there were some naturally sprouted baby trees around)Highlight was Santa and the free candy canes in the very busy parking lot. Staff was super nice. I just wish they actively planted new trees and thinned out the existing trees.

I enjoy coming here as the place is a cool experience, but I highly recommend you DON'T let them trim the stump of your tree because we spent 2 hours searching for and cutting down the PERFECT tree for them to ruin it by taking way too much off the bottom. Now it's short and they took all the filler off the bottom. Couldn't be more disappointed in my tree this year.

It was the first time since we moved up to Auburn that we went to cut down our tree. After my husband and I walked all around the farm we couldn't find a tree, we went to the already cut tree area and found a beautiful tree. We laughed that we didn't cut one down but it was nice to be out in the fresh air. A lot of people were able to find trees thst they cut down the workers were all wonderful and helpful! We love our tree!

Very nice place to come visit with your family and pick and cut your own Christmas tree. It’s the second year we come here. Beautiful views and fresh air ?⛰
