“Driving from Oregon to Mendocino, we had an alert that the brake pads needed replacing. We contacted BMW near Eureka, but not only did they not have the brake pads, they couldn't fit us in for 2 weeks. After several other calls with no results, we found Adam's Tire in Ft Bragg. Jen took our call and was absolutely amazing. She found the correct brake pads for us, and set us up with an appointment for our expected time of arrival in Fort Bragg. Although they were busy, they began the work quickly and kept us posted by phone and texts. We were able to get back on the road again the same afternoon. We were able to finish our trip through the winding roads of the redwoods and cannot thank them enough. Adam's Tire (and Jen) did a fantastic job for us--going above and beyond what we would ever have expected.Service: Brakes”

“My partner and I drove into town on a Saturday for our anniversary and right when we got in our check engine light came on. NONE of the auto shops were open (google's a liar) except for Toscanos. We went first to O'Riley's to get a diagnostic test run (our mass air flow censor was messed up) then drove all over trying to find a mechanic. We pulled up and Fermiére (apologies if this is the improper spelling) showed us how to pull out and clean out the part we needed to free of charge. So generous and greatly appreciated by us, especially with how bad it could have been for us to be stranded there so far from home. We appreciated it so much!! Thank you Toscanos !!”

“Stars at E & B Auto RepairFor over 40 years (!), Mike Margulis has been a fixture in Ft. Bragg CA for honest, personable, competent auto service. Just this week, as we are locals, Mike and Eric did an excellent 3K service on our '05 Toyota Sienna. But just two days ago, our barely two year old hybrid Highlander mysteriously wouldn't start after having visited the eye doctor, barking out weird error messages about the "brakes not getting enough power" (strange since the car was off). With remarkable luck, we were two blocks from E & B, trotted over and within two minutes Eric joined us to repair the mysteriously comatose (otherwise terrific) car. Within 15 minutes Eric had figured out the ONLY problem was my wife had slightly discharged the battery, using the accessory option to make a 15 minute phone call. Who knew the 12V capacity was not robust against a robust "accessory" discharge?Turns out the brakes were fine and this was simply the default message whenever the 12V can't power the complex electronics. I have written to Toyota and complained their software should be fixed, simply identifying a low battery, which I could have repaired myself with my lithium backup. In any case, the timing fit perfectly, Eric was between jobs and he could not have been more efficient or clearly focused, even though new Highlanders were not a daily challenge. But he quickly understood the big picture. The result: the non-problem was fixed and we charged the battery on the way home - disaster averted (except for the reasonable minimum cost. And I have requested Toyota should reimburse, per Mike's good suggestion). All in all, hats off to E & B - for top service, perfectly timed delivery, and of course their permanent good cheer and friendliness. Thanks, guys, for saving us because our supposedly brilliant new car (and it is) couldn't simply inform us our battery had been slightly drained and needed recharge. RBecker”
