Every single person who I came across at this location was lovely. The management clearly deeply cares about their location, every bit of the place is nicely landscaped. I called ahead to book and discovered they have a 2 bedroom house in the middle of the property you can rent, and that worked beautifully for my family! You could easily rent that space for a month and have everything you need, it was more of an Airbnb. Breakfast was delicious on Sunday morning, we skipped in on Saturday because it was super busy. The lobby is beautiful and very well maintained. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I come back to Fort Bragg!Nearby activities: Glass Beaches, Museums, Very cute shopping, interesting and diverse culinary spots in town.Safety: Up on its own hill with lots of lighting at night. We felt incredibly safe.Noteworthy details: The landscaping is beautiful and they do not use any harmful pesticides so it is thoughtfully safe for children and animals.

Good service and clean rooms. The “ocean view” is not exactly as advertised. But the service was great and the hotel is at a good location.

I booked a room and drove 4 hours to get a room which has a toilet seat with urine stain. When asking the receptionist, there was no cleaning available and other room they offered was more dirty. Ended up cleaning it myself just a heads

Older Best Western in a tourist area. Unit run down, sofa really run down, carpet frayed, but room very clean. Some maintenance issues were not corrected during our stay. Of all Best Western motels I have stayed in, it is the only one I felt I overpaid at over $200 per

Want stay here again. Paid $190 per night and it's out dated and now better than a Motel 6. Asked for a USB alarm clock or Lamp which other rooms had and lady behind desk just gave some lame excuse. Every person who stays here I KNOW has a phone that needs to be charged and if you charge that price, BASIC amenities should be provided!Rating,,,, poor

BW Vista Manor Lodge sits on top of a hill. The view would be nice if it weren't for the road work and equipment currently in front of the motel. Check in was smooth. The room was nice sized, well furnished and nicely cleaned. We had a second floor room with a sliding glass door onto a deck with two chairs. Sitting on the deck we could look at the river and historic bridge. Indoor swimming pool was available but we didn't use it. The breakfast area was clean and breakfast was sufficient. This motel sits at the edge of town and was fairly quiet. We would stay here again if we were in Fort Bragg.

It wasn’t the best. But it was full house judging from the cars parked at night. Rooms were ok. The bathroom needs more work. Standing in ankle deep water trying to shower in the bath tub ?? standard breakfast consisting of the colors yellow, orange, brown & black coffee. Otherwise it’s a short 2-3 mins drive into town.

Great host couple, friendly and helpful, wonderful smiles. No, it's not right on the beach but you can book a room with a great ocean view. Pretty grounds, lots to see and enjoy.

This was the best Best Western that I've ever been to. They owners were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was 8ft. deep which is nice, most pools are only 5ft. Our room had a good view of the ocean and was within walking distance from the beach.

Try to arrive early enough to appreciate the view of the ocean right above Glass Beach! Awesome advice to plan our next leg of our vacation and friendly, gracious

The room was fine. It was clean, didn't stink, everything in the bathroom worked fine. The TV worked, and the remote had a "Guide" button, so you could find what you might like to watch without just surfing. The choice of stations was extensive. It was the little things that bugged me. The nightstand had no power outlets. Most rooms now have a lamp with outlets built into the base so that you can plug in your phone, tablet, etc. No such luck. There was a power strip under one bed into which the lamp and clock were plugged, but it wasn't really accessible. Would have been better just to mount that strip on the nightstand. (Note to self, add extension cord to motel pack-list.)The "free wi-fi" was useless. That's really no surprise, they usually are, and I rarely use them. But here's the thing, Ft Bragg seems to be largely cell-signal-hell. Occupants of the room had ATT and Verizon services, and both were no better than one bar. So, with no wi-fi and no real cell signal, we had to leave the property to find internet (on the cliff over the beach was best) and research restaurants, etc. Given the crappy cell signals on their property, it would be nice if they would invest in wi-fi that worked. They keep the pool covered "to preserve heat". Please find an attendant to uncover it if you want to use it. I get it. I also get that most people won't bother, especially if you just want a quick 10-minute dip. It's not really welcoming. They don't start breakfast until 7:30. I'm going with "seriously?" That's pretty much useless if you have an early meeting or need to hit the road. We've stayed at a lot of B.W. properties. It's our first go-to when looking to travel, and the on-site breakfast is a big draw for us. It's SO convenient, and restaurant breakfasts are usually a lot more food than we want. I don't ever remember having to literally wait around for them to open the doors. I can't prove anything, because none of the B.W. property web-sites actually state times for breakfast, but 6 or 7 seems like what I remember. Ok, so we'll just wait at the room (there was a nice table out back) and have room coffee. Oh wait, there was a coffee maker and coffee, but no pot. Useless. I heard another customer notify / complain about it at the front desk, so it seems to be "a thing". The selection of breakfast items was typical of all B.W. properties: waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries and toast, sausage and eggs. The coffee was very good. The only thing that could be improved are the microwaved sausage and eggs, especially the sausage. A little grill that could crisp and brown the sausage would be a significant improvement. I can live without the pool, so I'm going with a 3. Add some power strips and a coffee pot in the room and move breakfast to 7:00 and it's a 4. Fix the wi-fi and move breakfast to 6:00 or 6:30 and it's a 5.

Wonderful fancy hotel. Nice little courtyard to take in some sun and my own patio. Gonna keep with Best Western until they disappoint.

They didn't have our room ready until well after 3pm,We got and end room for a peaceful time and the room above us had people with kid's soo loud and jumping and stomping a ,yes the entire night, then you can't get coffee until 7;30 am- 10 am with your Breakfast only which had very Small selection, We won't stay here again this was our 2nd time no more we will move on,there are plenty of nice places in ft.Bragg, this place is like the barely make a rating,We also thought With no supervision of the Breakfast food's that watching the unruly Children eating Chocolate Chip's and other food's Directly out of the Serving Spoon's for all of the Guest's just Simply Gross!!Noteworthy details: Certainly not worth $200 a night!
