Sharing it for Christmas presents.. Nothing like it, even better than what comes from SF. It is crunchy and chewy and Harvest Mkt has it as a loaf or sliced.

We were a little confused as to whether you can visit the bakery. The answer is no! They only do wholesale now. Thats ok. Their bread and bagels are delicious. We got ours at the Harvest Market.

This is no longer a restaurant. It's a bakery. They make an amazing sourdough loaf, a very good rye one, and if you find one of the few outlets, European style baked goods that are worth every single calorie.

As others have mentioned, the bakery itself is not open to the public. Their bread is available in local stores and restaurants, and it is delicious!!

Been on the coast for vacation and stopped to get coffee at a drive through. Was hungry so I got a chocolate croissant they had from Fort Bragg Bakery. I enjoyed it so much I considered turning around and driving back 10 miles to get another. Next day in Boonville I got one of their bear claws and it was just as yummy. Being out of state I am going to mis all that deliciousness. I hope they will send next day air...they are that good!!!

It was okay but the window display was funny and clever. Enjoyed the atmosphere but other than that it was alright.

This is a confusing place to review as a "cafe" It is not a walk in bakery or cafe. The bread is great...BUT the bakery is NOT open to the public. They only sell the bread in grocery stores and the farmers market. There is no coffee, no take out, no anything. So look for the bread in all the local stores, but don't try to go here. It is not open to the public. Yes the bread is wonderful.

the bagels, the Caspar Sourdough, the Austrian Seed bread are all best of class, stand out among the remarkable number of quality fresh breads in our local stores.

This place is to die for. Although I have never been to the bakery itself, I have enjoyed their sweets at many places along the coast that carry them fresh daily. My favorite is the ginger cookies which I picked up several times at the Elk Store. I became quite the addict on our recent vacation on the coast.

This bakery has sign posted on front window saying it is ONLY wholesale & refers public to grocery stores ( we found banquettes at Purity Mkt in Ft Bragg) and to local farmer's market.
