“Unlike most breweries I've been to, North Coast has a separate business for their merchandise and swag. It's in a different building than both the pub and the main brewery building. The staff seem dedicated to this store. And it's at a different address. So it gets a different review. What they offer here: -- Clothing, such as T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, hats -- Barware: bottle openers, coozies, mugs, glassware -- Artwork: in the form of posters, plaques and prints Their main offering, however, was North Coast Brewery beer in its various forms: by the case, in bombers, and in six packs (which can be mixed and matched if you like). Beer prices were actually pretty good, which you'd expect, since the bottling plant appears to be across the street. Since North Coast Brewery is one of my favorites, I admit it was hard for me to hold back. In the end I bought a six-pack of Old Stock Ale, a couple of bombers of Old Rasputin (aged in bourbon barrels), one t-shirt, and one beer koozie. Then I patted myself on the back for not overdoing it. As for rating, the staff were super-friendly and informative, but I do have trouble giving 5 stars to any business where half of their wares are a form of advertising.”

“Best sandwich I've had maybe ever! You can order ahead and pick up. You choose from a wide variety of breads, proteins, veggies, condiments ( including horseradish aioli), and your sandwich can be grilled! I had rye bread, pastrami, dill pickles, mayo, lettuce, Swiss cheese, grilled! He gave us a sample of his homemade chicken orzo soup, delicious! I got that for dinner! He has been written up for his soups and chowders, very friendly and enthusiastic! He is very creative, has special sandwiches of the day, like " Ranch Hand Chicken", Bowling Ball beach ( meatball), 4 a day! I'm going back!”

“Not sure why the low ratings on here. My girlfriend and I were in Mendocino for Thanksgiving from the Bay Area. We loved the nature up in the area yet compared to the Bay Area it was a bit of a food desert with expensive food and lack of vegan options. We looked all over Fort Bragg for a restaurant open on Thanksgiving with reliable vegan options. One Italian restaurant served pasta with veggies for a whopping $38 per dish. We decided to take things into our own hands going to Safeway. We arrived 10 minutes before they would be closing. We got salad, olive oil, lemon, whole wheat pasta, marinara sauce, and broccoli to make a nourishing humble Thanksgiving dinner at our Airbnb. Having picked up supplies at Safeway we had a memorable Thanksgiving meal.”
