Whenever we visit Mendocino, we always include lots of time to stop & shop at North Star Nursery. The owners and staff are super fun, friendly and knowledgeable to boot! I could and often do spend well over an hour just looking at all the fabulous items that are on display inside for the home. Their holiday selections are wonderful. The outside nursery is equally packed with great ideas for the garden. Seriously, this nursery is like a slice of heaven right here on Earth!

They are the very best! The best variety, wonderful yard art and beautiful pots for your plants. The owner is not only personable but extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants quality, and availability of someone who knows about plants in this area. Go down and check this place out it's wonderful, you'll love it!

North Star Nursery is a joy to visit. They have a large selection of plants and garden supplies which are tastefully arranged and well organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Best nursery I have ever been to. Wonderful selection and price, and even better staff. They were all so friendly and gave me thorough advice on how to keep my plants happy. All purchases came with a tag with care information attached.

I would like to upgrade my previous review of NSN based on the kind owner's response, who gently reminded me that containers of fertilizers are sold by weight and not amt in the container. I was even offered a refund (no thanks--the sweet offer is enough) and I hereby rave about this nursery. Also, every single plant I've purchased has been healthy & highly productive! Lastly, even the hummingbirds love this place, which is another reason to visit. Thank you, kind owners, I stand humbly corrected and happy! Long May ye grow.
