I was on vacation and just casually whiskey hunting. Popped in and didn't expect to see much. Sitting on the the shelf... Stagg Jr. $150 which is well above retail, but... he took another 10% off and if you know how hard it is to find Stagg for less than $300- then you understand. Owner was very friendly and recommended a few other places I might go search. Can't ask for much more than that.

Great for hard to find liquors. It won't be cheap, but it's a great resource (they have to ship it in special, remember, it's like living on an island up here)

This is certainly nothing very polished, but I find it a delightful throwback to the dimly lit, semi-shady, slightly clandestine aspect of 1950's liquor stores. All they need is a rack of girly magazines to attract 12 year-old kids like me. Oh wait, they've got that...

They have a good selection of mezcal, like 15+ types and the owner was happy to walk me through each one.

Really friendly cashier overall and he offered us styrofoam cups for free. They have local beer and also general alcohol things such as ping pong balls and wine openers.

The best selection of European beer on the north coast.
