Most expensive Safeway in California, yet it never has enough Checker's or Bagger's & the Produce is subpar. Usually bad after just 2 or 3 days.

Still the same story. There are lines running the depth of the store, and only 1 or 2 checkouts open. The self checkouts are usually backed up too. People are going thru rather than wait for the manned checkout lines to move.
But with a 15 item limit on the self checkout it still pushes customers to the regular checkouts and the long lines attached.

The checkers do a fantastic job dealing with odd people. Checkers have to deal with so much social interaction aside from all other employees who quietly work throughout the different areas, vegetables, meat, and baking, who are like ghosts in the piles.
Bravo to the checkers!

Excellent grocery store there in Fort Bragg, nice and clean, and they have everything well stocked, Customerservice was excellent as well.

I'm done with Safeway. Only two checkout stands open, both with lines that went halfway to the back of the store. Yes, the self check was open, but the line there also stretched halfway to the back of the store. It was the same several days ago. They have enough business, they do not need mine.

Gas station lady was rude and not very helpful at all. I don't usually encounter individuals who look and act like they hate their job there.

Not much choice in Fort Bragg, so prices are slightly higher than other cities like Chico. Need more choices please!

Do you guys not put huggies 360 on the shelf? Only Pampers 360? I've been having to order on Amazon and its not super convenient at certain times. Ive checked 5 times now and never seen them in the size I need ( 4 ). Pampers are not my go to and much more expensive.

Safeway is my go-to place for most of my groceries. Partly because I have an account so I don't need to deal with payment methods, but mostly because they have an excellent produce and meat departments, as well as pretty much having everything else we need.

Deli was stocked with great food. Not too busy.
