Here is a landmark that has been part of our community for more years than I have been living. The location has a drive-thru which makes it convenient when it is raining outside, or you just don't feel like going in. I love how fast and easy this location is. The workers here treat you like you are famous no matter if you are rich or poor. When it comes to banking on the Coast look no further as Savings Bank of Mendocino County has you covered for all your banking needs.

Always friendly. Shorter waits than most banks. I've been using them for many years. I've never had one problem.

A local bank that acts like anything but. All the issues of a big bank with the staffing and availability of a small-town bank. I would rather bank with Bank of America, and they don't even have a local branch.

I went to Savings Bank to open an account. I've enjoyed local banks in other places I've lived and expected to enjoy being a customer here as well. I sat with Danica to open the account, and she finds something on Chexsystems from the last bank I had in Massachusetts. I immediately paid that bill, managed to get them to email me a letter saying the debt was paid in full, but that still wasn't enough. I was given more hoops to jump through. The manager and Danica started treating me with disrespect, as if this one failure - in over 30 years of banking - made me a lesser person. Decided to try Wells Fargo. Account was open in 20 minutes and I left with a debit card and checks in hand. I highly discourage anyone from signing on with Savings Bank in Fort Bragg.

Oh and if your a pot grower or contractor who works under the table/any other under the table worker. Do not go here these people will rat you out to the irs or toatally screw you on a loan. Ask them about their 50% down come up with ballon payment in one year special property loan.

savings Bank of mendocino fort bragg ca branch is the worst place to bank the bank management is a joke kay is rude and wont listen or even try and help when a problem arises very judgemental telling people to that they need to learn how to manage their funds and who can and cant have a debit card with a checking account very poor customer skills six times contacting them to try and fined out what is going on and still nothing .

Savings Bank of Mendocino always has plenty of tellers. There is rarely more than a few minutes wait time, and the tellers are friendly. I love the small town feeling in this bank. The office in Mendocino is in the former Masonic Temple, which is cool. The office in Fort Bragg has a drive up teller, which is convenient. Unlike the corporate banks which were doing weird things like putting holds on checks, this bank puts your checks right through once you have banked with them for three months. About the best bank I have ever banked with, for sure!

ATM is ALWAYS down. So incredibly inconvenient for anyone who can't make it to the limited business hours. I have worked at banks before, if there is this many problems with an ATM it's time to invest in a new one or get a second for when the first is inevitably down. Ridiculous.
