State of the Ark is a little crowded thrift store and a great place to donate all sorts of items. It offers an assortment of items ranging from clothing, books, tools, toys, art, antique treasures, and a unique variety of jewelry. The quality ranges from very worn out to almost new, making it a true scavenger hunt. All proceeds go towards the care of homeless animals, and there are often kittens available for adoption. It is a store to browse every category and find useful items or a little treasure. Many recommend stopping by if driving through town and having the time.

I always find something in this little crowded thrift store! I make sure to stop by every summer when I am in town. This year, I got two pairs of pants, a sports bra, and 7 books for $43.
