Ceptional Service and Cellent Food for Years! No, I am not having typing issues. This place will continue to get four star reviews and I will continue to withhold the “Ex” unless something changes.Ft. Bragg has to be an interesting place to work. And I find that this Subway is always interesting. This place has always been one of the cleaner Subways I have visited. And it is in a mall atop a hill on the outskirts of FB. Why does that matter? Not sure. The workers are, to the one, over the years, both interested and disinterested in working there. Can you blame them? But the sandwiches and salads I have received have been a step above most I have received from other Subways in California and Oregon. Why that is is a question I continue to ponder after this last visit. This time, I walked into the same sort of vibe. The only worker on staff (what gives?), was in the corner of the kitchen-area texting. She noted I arrived. She said she would be with me in a minute. Then she kept texting. I am sure this was not a text exchange with corporate about new policies and procedures. And she showed absolutely no concern with texting away until she was done. Perhaps it was about her children. Who knows? She never explained this gap of a few minutes to me. But, when those texts were done, I had her attention (then again, I was the only other person in the room). Sandwich and salad were made. She took note of my requests. All was well. Credit paid. Food given. Food eaten a few hours later. Fine.I suspect that they simply hire good enough workers who do more than good enough work. And that is fine with me. I don’t expect perfection, especially when . . . I . . . am . . . going . . . to . . . Subway. Thing is, there is a bit of an edge to these workers that I find enjoyable. This time I asked if they still had those small packets of croutons (they were, as of this summer, one of the only ones that did). The server said, “No.” I said, “That’s okay. Most of the other Subways have gotten rid of them.” The server replied, "Subway keeps getting rid of a lot of things.” Loved the candor. Sorta’ makes me happy she noticed, and then ignored, me while she finished her texting earlier.Ft. Bragg has the Subway that Mendocino only wishes it had. Then again, that one would probably be filled with insufferably deadbeats driving hand-me-down BMWs! I kid.

I tried my first subway many years ago in Cleveland, Ohio.. long before it exploded across the country. I was a child but super impressed. Today I decided to use a gift card for lunch, Subway was the ticket. I was greeted promptly as I walked through the door and the service was superb. Maybe it was our first day of sunshine, but it seemed exceptionally bright as well as being very clean and warm. My sandwich was what you expect from this chain, filling and flavorful for fast food. My biggest issue and one I'm forced to live with is price, $13.72 for a sammich with no chips or a drink seems a bit steep. Our Subway does what it does and is exemplary fast food for our little town.

Out of hot choices hours before closing. Literally slapped the sandwich together, the person used her hand to scoop the tuna, thankfully she was wearing gloves.

It's subway, I don't expect much. But you could at least get the order right. It's an online order, you get in words what should and shouldn't go on the sammich. Also maybe don't CRUSH both subs when you wrap them. Literally CRUSHED. $25 down the

Stopped in here during a visit to the area. Website, and TV, have big offer of BOGO 50% off. They refused to type in the code, insisting they had to have a coupon. Found a coupon that required me to pay a bit more. Ridiculous.

Horrible experience! Employee was sweeping the dining room slamming the broom into the dust pan obviously angry that my family of 5 walked in. She was short, rude and slamming the sandwich trays on the counter and slamming the oven door open and closed. I spent $62.00 and the sandwiches where thrown together. Customers are the reason she has a job! If I where the owner I would of fired her on the spot! I will never step foot in this Subway again! Disgusting experience. Ruined my night!

It's a subway. Stop for a sandwich when you hit town ( first thing you see) then head to the beach...what could be better.
