I really want to give props to Josiah in the Fortuna Pharmacy: he is always friendly and helpful and he, himself, deserves 5 stars.Rite Aid Pharmacy, overall, does a good job. It would be helpful if they would notify the customer of prescriptions denied by the doctor and/or not responded to by the doctor instead of only notifying when the prescription is filled and ready for pick up.

Been using this pharmacy in fortuna for decades . It has gone straight down hill the last two years. Closed on the weekends. My last script for anti inflammatory was to be refilled a week prior to expiration so there would not be any delays in recontacting th doctor. First they said the directions were wrong and they needed clarification even though the same directions had been on the script for 10 years. Then said there was an insurance problem even though no problems with any other provider. After 3 weeks still nothing and now told they need new authorization since they didn’t fill it three weeks earlier but that’s only when I pressed them as to why my other meds were ready but not this one. Try Walgreens until this pharmacy straightens up

My RiteAid is great and I am grateful for it, because if not for them, I'd have to go to Walgreen's where every Rx either takes for-Ever to pick up or is messed up! Yeah, I tried Walgreen's when it finally hit my town and it SUCKED! RiteAid staff NEVER messes up my Rx's, they're always friendly, willing to help if I want it and leave me the hell alone the rest of the time so I never feel pressured! Some know me by name because RiteAid doesn't seem to play high employee turn over and that's awesome.

We were scheduled to get our boosters today at 12:20 and 12:40. At the Rite Aid in Fortuna.We'd had a bad experience at the Walgreens in town, two days previously -- just raw incompetence. Finally left after an hour without our shots.Got to the Rete-Aid and found that the pharmacist was on his lunch, and wouldn't be back until 12:30. Not a good start. But we went next door to the Dollar Tree and managed to spend $14. Came back at 12:23, and the pharmacist -- charming young man, I've lost his name, but the only pharmacist there -- had returned from his lunch. Took 5 minutes to give me and wife our shots. So we will call this one a success. Rite Aid in Fortuna is much better than the Walgreens in Fortuna.
