Will be looking into another service. Tried to contact the emergency help line Saturday because of a leak in our garage and the number on the voice mail didn’t work, but I left a message. Finally found the emergency number on Facebook and after talking for a while was told that we had to call a Plummer anyway to fix the leak which is fine, but why wait so long to tell us you can’t help while we have a gas leak.

I have used sequoia gas since I moved to Ferndale almost 5 years ago. The drivers are really nice and very helpful. Office staff can be good and bad, I have had 3 out 5 visits end nicely. Not great over the phone, the lady is always very short and sometimes downright rude. They really need to update their website, it is confusing and limited. The receipt is a bit confusing as well and you have to guess as to what you account info is if you try to sign up for an account. I usually request a refill online and they call me the next day.

We changed our propand supplier to Sequoia a couple of years ago. They are so much more responsive than the previous supplier. We are are on a will call service but we almost never have to call. Instead the driver checks in with us and tops up our tank long before it is low. All of the staff is firendly and accomadating.

I requested a service call for my gas fireplace. My appointment was scheduled between 2/3 pm. The service technician arrived promptly at 2pm. Since my fireplace would not light using the remote and I had changed the batteries in the remote I figured it might be a bigger issue. The service technician asked if I had checked the batteries on the internal controller. What batteries I asked. Long story short he changed out the batteries in the internal controller and that was the problem. While he was here he made a couple of small adjustments to the flame and the showed me how to adjust the fan and flame. When I asked him for the invoice so I could pay the service call he said that there would not be a charge. I was astonished. Thank you Ben and Sequoia Gas for your great customer service. This speaks volumes about your company and the service you provide.
