Very friendly and professional pharmacists and registers. I got the flu vaccine for $19.99 without any insurance. Pharmacists were busy, but they can enough time to talk with me.

Absolutely zero compassion towards patients who are sick. April, please change your attitude when you speak with patients. I wouldn't ask for a confirmation on when the medicines are expected unless I'm really sick and need to take my first dose to get relief. Your comment on 'its just a cough syrup and a nasal spray helps nobody. Needless to say, will take my business elsewhere.

Yes people on edge about Covid BUT Pharmacist and Pharmacy Tech RUDE!!! To me aight, but to an elderly customer trying to fill his prescription? Damn Pharmacist had the audacity to make the poor man wait, asked to go to another window and get out of his motor chair. KARMA I say. Poor customer service.

My doctor electronically sent in two prescriptions and the service individual at Madison Heights stated that a 2 1/2 time to fill the prescriptions is just the way it is and it will be another 30 minutes if I care to shop in the store.

I hope by my writing this review, I help someone avoid the stress that I've had to endure over the last few days. Costco is substituting more expensive brand name drugs in leu of generic and not telling the patient. My doctor ordered a medication, I checked the pricing tool (30$) and proceeded to pharmacy. I got there and they tried to charge me 435$. I explained that the pricing tool and my doctor quoted me the $30). The pharmacist told me that was a different manufacturer generic, they would have to order the less expensive drug and to come back tomorrow. I went back today and they once again, tried to charge me 435$. I explained that was incorrect and pharmacist told me that even though they ordered the "cheaper" drug in the system, the distribution center changed it and sent more expensive drug. I said, people come to Costco believing they are saving money on drugs, why would anyone switch out a generic drug for more expensive brand? It defies all logic! The name of the medication is Modafinil. I cancelled my membership and will never shop at Costco again.

I am the biggest fan of Costco but not so much for their pharmacy. However, when I moved to Sudbury for university, I had to change my pharmacy due to my medication that I have been on for 15 years ,for nerves pain in my face. I had never, never, had a single problem handing back the used ones. But before ,I was even handed my first Rx the pharmacist implied that he was going to have a problem with me handing back my returns. For many months, I trusted, and stupidly handed back my returns and walked away to the same pharmacist who said that there would be missing meds. Like clock work, Well, Well, what do you think, the same pharmacist counted my returns to be short JUST AS HE HAD PREDICTED.This is the Biggest Breach of TRUST.Costco this is SHAMEFUL

Used to really like using Costco. Something changed over the last six months. New staff, and our Rx orders got moderately more complex - nothing far out, just more and different drugs to order. Over and over again over the last months, the staff made errors in requesting refills. Over and over again their attitude has been incredibly casual and nonchalant about *their* errors - they seriously act as though any mistake they make is NO BIG DEAL (and that's even with us being polite and patient). Today, my husband is out of Rx for several days because they repeated an error they've made multiple times before. Are they concerned? Heck no. Pharmacy tech "April" pretty much acts like I've forgotten what aisle the aspirin is on - Oh hey dude, it's all good right? No, it's not! "But we fixed the problem" she says. A patient being without the drugs he ordered days before because *you* made an error is not fixing the problem. Huh, says April... like I've just told her she's wearing shoes. KMN. But I don't want to single out April. I've had the same nonchalant attitude from other techs. They just do not care. Errors? Meh! We're so outta here people... all our family's Rx needs will be handled elsewhere.

Four stars is really mainly for the fact that they are not open on Sunday and my schedule is very erratic and I really needed to go today. But for the most part they are quite professional. Often there are things they need to order in so you do have to wait but you can try to move up your pick up time when you call online to re-order prescriptions. I've seen some people's complaints they couldn't get a refill but that is most likely because the doctor or the veterinarian does not have refills without them being contacted. I have never had a problem, and they will contact your doctor for you for refills. My 20-year-old cat has diabetes and hypertension and I get her medicines there. I believe you don't even have to have a Costco membership to use the pharmacy which is really nice for some people and they do supposedly offer a special pricing for people without insurance. The male pharmacist I spoke to before is very nice and helpful. My cat is on an experimental diabetes system normally used on people but they are trying more and more on dogs and cats called the lifestyle libre. Very cool system I can scan my cat and monitor and get a graph to get a really good look at her glucose levels which are very inconsistent at her age and health stage. And her veterinarian can log in and see the graphs herself The only issue I had at the register was an Indian woman I have not seen before at the pharmacy who stated "this is for your cat?! " and rolled her eyes. It's not an expensive system and even if it was that's my business and what makes a pet any less valuable than a person? My cat has a neurologist, internist, acupuncturist, a physical therapist, dentist, and ophthalmologist. I would do anything for my cat, so lady I hope you don't have any pets and next time keep your comments and your facial expressions to yourself.

I am a huge Costco fan - but this pharmacy is absolutely incompetent for pet prescriptions. I dropped off a vet prescription for flea medicine and since they only carried the 3 pack, I asked them to order the 6 pack. When they called to tell me it was in, I confirmed it was for the 6 pack. But I wasted the trip to Costco because it wasn't the 6 pack. I finally got the 6 pack the next week. When I picked it up, I asked whether I had to wait any period of time before getting a refill. I was told no, there weren't any restrictions on refills. Well, I just tried to order a new 6 pack of the flea medicine and was told that I can't get any refills. I give up. I'm going to a different pharmacy.
