One of the reasons this location is busy than most of other places is because of their location. There isn't any near by tired shop available within a short distance. As other reviews mention, this place will rip you off and get as much as they can out of you. Today I went in for a patch on my truck, tired size 285/64/R20., I called and they said $35. After the work is done, they charged $60. That is almost cost as a new tired. Stay away.

I'm writing this review as a warning to others: beware of the bait and switch at American Tire Bay. We purchased a set of 4 tires and were assured that they came with a warranty. When we called to confirm coverage, the representative confirmed that we were still under warranty and told us to bring it in. We thought we were good to go.
But here's the kicker: when we took our vehicle in the next day, they hit us with a $95 installation fee for the warranty work. Are you kidding me?! We didn't even pay that much for the tires themselves, let alone the installation. It's clear that American Tire Bay is looking to nickel and dime their customers.
The lack of transparency and honesty is appalling. We were told one thing over the phone and then blindsided with a fee when we showed up. Needless to say, we will never be back. If you value your hard-earned money, stay far, far away from American Tire Bay.

Service was superb and the price is right! Most importantly, not so much time to wait despite there's pizza deli inside the nearby Sam's Club, and cheaper fuel to top off your SUV/ truck !

★★★★★ Exceptional Service - Quick and Fast!
American Tire Bay provides exceptional service. They are incredibly quick and get the job done fast. Most importantly, they truly stand behind their work. This is a great, reliable American company that I highly recommend.

I came here before with a nail in my tire. I believe it was the owner that day. Great man! Great attitude. He wanted $30. I only had $20 and he did it still. Right at closing time too. So I came back here to buy 2 new tires since American tire down the street wanted $580. Different man working. Grumpy. Had an attitude but still gave me 2 new tires for $360. ( I have big tires ). So here I am a week later with a nail in my back tire again. Not one of the new ones. And the same mean guy is working. Charging me $30 and just ride. As I’m sitting in the office, there’s another lady there and she tells me is that guy means to you like he is me? And we both discussed how rude this guy is and he Acts like somebody pissed in his Cheerios and he’s taking it out on his customers. I don’t know where the original owner went, but he should really look into getting somebody else as customer service because this guy will literally make it to where I do not come back to this place. And I still need to buy two new tires. I think I will be going somewhere else.

Brought my 2013 Tesla Model S here and they did an amazing job! Amila and his son are good people — super friendly, honest, and really know their stuff. They took great care of my car and got everything done fast for a fair price. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend American Tire Bay if you’re in Fountain Valley!

This place is awesome! They operate like a fined tuned machine. Very polite and very efficient in the work they do. And the price was very fair. Thank you for being so awesome

I went to American Tire Bay for an alignment on my Tesla Model X and paid $130 cash. I asked for a printout, and they gave me one — but it was only Tesla’s factory spec sheet, not my vehicle’s actual before/after alignment numbers. A real alignment report should show red, yellow, and green indicators with before and after measurements. Their paper even said “ADJ was not adjusted,” which proves the alignment was never performed.
I paid for a service I never received. I have already filed complaints with the Bureau of Automotive Repair and the BBB. This shop is dishonest and charges customers for work not done.

Horrible service and cheapest people. Asked for just a little air and got denied.

I was house-sitting for my aunt nearby and noticed her car had a flat tire from a nail. I brought it here hoping for a quick and reasonable fix, but the experience was disappointing.
The staff member I spoke with (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name) was condescending from the start. I came in with just one flat tire, but he recommended replacing two tires “for stability.” I asked for the price, and he said it would be $410 per tire which makes it $820 total for a Range Rover. I explained that this isn’t my car and I’m just trying to help my aunt by solving the issue as reasonably as I can.
When I questioned whether replacing both tires was truly necessary, he got visibly annoyed and snapped, “I already told you why,” followed by, “Are you going to throw the car away in two months?” I then asked if there were any more affordable options, and he responded with, “So it’s not your car and you don’t care, so you want me to put any tire on it?”
At that point, I didn’t feel respected as a customer and decided to leave. I understand it was close to closing time (around 6 PM), but that’s no excuse for such rude service. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on how I was treated.

Terrible service, went with my friend and witnessed how they treated them, I couldn’t believe how a business here in the USA California would have this type of behavior. They didn’t fix his car correctly, and constantly made him feel bad, like it was his fault, and they should be ashamed of themselves! Be careful since this place is cheap there is a reason why, they sell defective products, and cheap labor which results in terrible consequences to your car, to your dignity and to your pockets.

Stay away from here especially if you have a Tesla. They will treat you like crap, all while pretending to know how to work on them, 3 alignments and none of them worked, sold me defective tires that blew up in less then a month, I haven’t had a flat tire in ten years, yet after American Tire Bay I had two within a month, they don’t honor their warranty, and again treated me horribly, constantly disrespecting me, I wouldn’t wish this level of service on my enemies.

I once took a Prius there for repairs. They told me it had a head gasket issue and quoted me $2,000. I took the car to another mechanic, and it turned out that it only needed new coils — the issue was fixed for just $400. These people are dishonest and not to be trusted. I strongly advise against going there.

I am very happy with my experiences here at American tire bay. They usually are able to get me in the same day which is great when you're having car problems. They seem to have a BMW expert there because they fix not only the problem but also turn off the warning lights after the problems are solved. They have repaired electrical issues as well as brakes and sensors . I highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
