“I haven't been a collector since gym challenges but 151 got me back into collecting for nostalgia. I have extreme social anxiety but this place was super chill and everyone there was super friendly. Chef was a great help and was very low pressure. I recommend this shop to anyone, whether you are just interested in getting started or a seasoned player looking for specific cards to fill out your deck. This shop seemed to have it all. I told my friends about Trainer Center before I even pulled out of the parking lot.”

“I wanted to buy a telescope for my son to learn on and for me to get back into stargazing since it's been almost a decade since I sold my 6" newt. Lawrence and Mike were incredibly nice and professional and took all the time to talk to me about optics and general astronomy. I was glad that there was also a local brick and mortar store that I can support. They had a used 8" dob that was great for us and we're incredibly supportive. They will be my goto for anything astronomy related. The drive from the IE was absolutely worth it.”

All was found and then safely on the way. Did I mention that traffic was a mess. I thought everyone moved out of state. I guess not.”

“This is a cute shop on the HB Pier. They have been there for as long as i remember (like 40 years) They have a wonderful selection of kites and spinners. The customer service is amazing, they help you find what you need and show you how to order items online if they don't have the size you are looking for. I bought a Santa Spinner about 10 years ago and it still looks great. I highly recommend it this store and you can also take a walk to the end of the pier while you're there.”

“If you love outdoor birds this is the store for you . Craig is so friendly and knowledgeable. All the staff is helpful and will carry large bags to your car. I recommend the no mess food! No more mess or weeds growing from the seed. I joined the membership club and get all my seed here. I was saddened to see a few negative reviews . Give the store another chance. You won't be disappointed . The Black Friday sake states clearly what is NOT included. I shop it every year ! I have been coming here for years and am thankful for an honest family run business .”

I would definitely come back because they said a lot of their things are on sale for half the price it use to cost to rent them. They have a lot of quite... vintage items, so prepare yourself for 90's style "humor" that might revolve around race and such things when it comes to their costume section. Besides that they have a very big variety of items.”

“This store is my second favorite anime store in Main Place Mall. I visit both before deciding on my hauls of the day. I love how many Pokémon plushes they have. They’re always really nice and not pushy like at another anime store on that same level. I feel at ease when I come here it has better energy than the other location (unsure of name). That other store has more Pokémon plushes but because of how they act is why we don’t buy from them. It’s something that’s come up in my family. We naturally gravitate here and don’t bother visiting the competition anymore. They also have some $1 small claw vending machines. Thanks for the friendly service.”

“I inherited a small collection of coins, stamps and jewelry from my late aunt. I looked at many different dealers that I was looking to bring my collection to, but after reading reviews specifically for Dennis and his OC Rare Coin- I decided to travel from the valley to their office in Orange. I was not disappointed! I really appreciated having a safe and private space to go rather than a counter with items that were somewhat sentimental. I felt my aunt had cared enough to save these items for so long, I wanted the same care to be given to them in their departure. Dennis met me with his partner Victor. Each of them meticulously went over every piece of my collection. They explained a lot to me, and took the time to connect with me personally. They were courteous, kind, and very honest. Dennis said typically they recommend getting different offers, and organized/itemized everything for me to take home and think about- but with the experience I had (not to mention hours spent) why would I want to go anywhere else?! I walked away feeling good about my decision and pleased with the outcome. Highly recommend!”

“Review is based off my experince at the Animetopia booth at anime expo chibi 2023.While the booth was on the small side, their offerings made up for it. They carried a lot of things I'm interested in such as Twisted Wonderland, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Hypnosis Mic stuff. I was thrilled they had some Jigokuraku: Hell's Paradise items as I don't see it stock in many stores I visit. The items were organized into different sections which made it easy to look for items I want. They stock a lot of prize figures and second hand blind bag items which is great because I don't have to worry about getting duplicates of a character. There were many that I want, but I had to limit myself. Fortunately, their items are priced right and not overpriced like most anime shops. I am looking forward to the day their brick and mortar store reopens.”
