So good! I brought my 9 year old grandson, and he was so happy. He was looking for Pokémon cards and they brought him boxes and helped him look for what he wanted.

Quickly becoming my favorite place...I've been frequently heading to Kingslayer Games now for about 2 months. As they are my LGS. I was gifted a Magic Commander deck by a friend but it had been 30+ years (omg 30 years) since I had last played or thought about playing Magic at a Dragons Den in NY.Once I found Kingslayer, I went through their website, looked at almost everything, and saw they listed something called Squire Training which if you sign up for it. Someone from the store will spend time with you, answering questions, go through mechanics, play, have you feel comfortable. I happened to get to meet Alex Cuevas doing this, and his knowledge of the game of Magic has just been outstanding.I've learned so much about the game, strategy and becoming comfortable playing the game in public at a store adds a feeling of community that is so calming. Just to have someone walk you through every step, how to play the game politely is enough to think this is worth it.Also... it's free.If you haven't already sign up for a Squire Training, the community is incredibly welcoming and a blast to learn how to play not only Magic, but your favorite game.-Your Everyday Heroes

We as a group of 8 were looking for a place to play our board games. The staff was very friendly when we walked in, and they told us that we could play our board games there for free! Not only that, they had a water station and a very clean bathroom for us to use. We ended up staying for about 2 hours, and it was a great time. I then bought some card sleeves (they had an excellent stock of card sleeves) that I have been meaning to buy to sleeve some of my board game cards. Overall, the place was clean, the staff was very friendly, and their selection was numerous. Definitely recommend!

Came here to pick up a booster box. I called ahead to see if they had them in stock and made the drive over and was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The best thing is that it seems like they do their best to not sell at scalper prices. Which I can't say about all my other local card shops which marked up One Piece card game prices to insane amounts.

My fiance loves Pokémon cards and collectibles, so we checked out Kingslayer Games while we were in town. They had a great selection of items, including current run Pokémon cards, anime cards, and plushies. The owner of the shop was super friendly and helpful. They have an online store as well so thats super nice! It's always great to find another reputable card shop to be able to order from as we are somewhat limited where we live.

I came here years ago and the staff was extremely rude, so I decided to not come back. I should've stuck to my word. However, they were the only store nearby that carried Disney Lorcana, so I went to buy a starter pack. The staff were at least nice this time, but I didn't realize until later than they massively overcharged me for the starter packs. MSRP is $16.99 and they charged me $24.99, a 47% markup from MSRP. Shady business. I don't recommend. ------------------------ UPDATE: Since there is no way to reply to the owner's response to my review, I'll just update my review. Travis, thank you for your response. I see now why your staff was so rude the first time I went in. It must stem from the top based on your response. You are correct that the "S" stands for suggested. You are also right that it is your prerogative to charge anything you'd like. The price was also clearly marked, I just didn't realize what the MSRP price was until I got home and already opened the product. There are multiple ways of running a business. One is to charge MSRP and not take advantage of your customer's excitement and create a customer base that trusts you and wants to return, and the other is to charge market rates for everything and be like the used car dealerships of the world and take advantage of your customers and take them for every penny you can. It's your prerogative to operate your business however you'd like. However, I will definitely not be returning to your store for any reason, and I would hope others don't either. I can only hope we can get a better local game store to replace yours, maybe even a FLGS. Updated my rating to one star based on owners horrible response.

I took my 16 year, old grandson, who enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons to the store, thinking that he would find some supplementary materials for his D&D gaming. The store is fabulously well-stocked, neat and orderly, and the owner was very, very helpful.

New Magic player here. The whole process of learning the game seemed so intimidating at first, but the staff has been super helpful in learning the ropes. This place definitely wins out for friendliest service. They have Commander nights on Wed and Fri, so the community is thriving. Best of all, when you buy a MTG product, you can draw a random card from this binder. Love this place!

I have been here a couple of times now and the staff is friendly, engaging, and well informed. They have one of the best and friendliest pokemon tcg communities in orange county and have been very welcoming to my young child.
