An experience at this pet store today left me stunned, taken aback and shocked. I cannot get over being verbally attacked by a manager, Raymond. I went in to buy food and took an item with me that I wanted to return — a simple non-perishable item, no expiration , not food related, in its original packaging, valued less than $20. When I entered I mentioned I wanted to return the item, and the cashier said not if it’s over 30 days. As I proceeded to shop I decided to ask if an exception might be made as the item is still sold on a rack near checkout. The cashier called Raymond who was seemingly already angry when he arrived. I said I was hoping for an exception on the 30 days and that I buy nearly all food and supplies there. That triggered Raymond to say “that’s a threat, when you say that that’s a threat and you’re threatening me”. He went on a tirade about people who tell him they buy everything there and the kind of people who ask for exceptions. There were people at the other registers and in line behind me who could hear him berating me like I was some kind of loser, trying to pull one on him. I am still beside myself at the way he spoke to me over a simple request to consider making a policy exception. I said nothing beyond the few words above, never argued or did anything that would cause an employee to go at a customer in that manner. But no more — After more than five years of being a regular customer I will shop online and or find another store that carries the special brands I buy.

Do not buy their flea pills! They do not work even though the employee said it does. No refunds on 3 mo supply of flea pills?! Hmmm. They obviously dont back up their products and are more concerned with their bottom line than Customer Satisfaction.

I had been going to the store for twenty five years. Today the manager Kayla asked me to leave the Store without my purchase. I went in to support the Small Business Saturday and she was offended because I was there Wednesday and the girl that worked There And I spoke about small business saturday. It wasn't The Saturday I went but but.it is on the 25th so I said. Well, that was really stupid of the girl. And then Kayla said I insulting her staff and that I should leave the store. Even another customer overheard the conversation and said she's the customer. What's wrong with you and then she asked them Do you want to leave too?. Her name is Kayla And please Peter patter like a tiny bunny when you see her.We'll folks. It didn't go well. I called the manager Raymond and his manager Earle and he said I was wrong for insinuating "The girl" was stupid. I actually liked the girl I don't even know her name But He told me he knew the kind of person I was and he asked me to never come back to the store again. Raymond please post the video here.I was so sad I could hardly stand it So I went to another pet store and spent my eighty two dollars there. If you read it this far this is not a joke it's real!

I always love coming here because I am always more educated and more happy when I leave. I needed to change my dog's food to more healthy option because she is getting older and I want the best food and life for her. They were able to help me on so many options and I am looking forward to trying new things. I also needed some shoes for here when she walks on asphalt and when it's raining, anything good for rough weather. They had samples of this one brand and it was perfect because I could actually figure out what the best size was. I also asked for senior dog food samples and the cashier went to the back and was able to get my a lot of big samples and I was so happy about that. This was a very informative and good visit.

Not much to choose from. Mostly dig food and there's no staff to help you. Bummer I was hoping they had more of a variety of dog products and their prices are pretty high.

I am not a current pet owner. I stopped in here to have a peek and to buy some treats and toys for my friends' doggo. If you are looking for a pet related item, they are more than likely to have it. I needed help finding a specific type of toy. One of the employees was very knowledgeable and showed me a few different choices. Left feeling quite happy with the customer service and with my purchases.

This local pet shop trumps quality, variety, and prices compared to big name stores. Milo is always spoiled with treats and attention here. Can't say enough good things about the staff. My dog will occasionally rob a treat and they offered to let him keep it haha. My absolute go -to pet store.

So many brands available and a very helpful staff. They are the only place around that sells the dog food that was recommended by the rescue that brought my pup to me.

I am down to just one pet at this time, but have had several different types of animals over the years. This store was able to cater to all of them: rabbit, cats, chameleons, dog... whatever I'm looking for, they've had it! The staff is knowledgeable about their products, and I've been able to find new things to use for my pets that have worked out really well.

The store and the selection are amazing. But it's an employee that continues to tell me how and what to feed my dog. I don't need her input on how to raise and feed my dog. I'm not saying she's right or wrong but she NEEDS to STOP being so forceful. She's very rude and abrasive.

Staff is friendly and tries to help but I wouldn't take their advice on what to feed my pet, they take you to the worst non human grade kibble you can possibly feed, but I don't blame them just do your own research before. Also it's common for them to have expired kibble on the shelves. I unfortunately encountered this several times now, was in a hurry and just got the first bag there, went back and returned it after noticing when I got home but still it's inconvenient so always check expiration other than they have so much variety!

***** Highly Recommend *****I'll try not to write a book about it..?I usually wait after several times of visiting a place before I write a review. In this case I've been going to the store a lot of times for a long time and I actually forgot to write a review. But it finally came time. I've had so many good experiences lately that it was a must that I did.First of all pet supply is a great business and I love supporting my local vendors. Fountain Valley store is my favorite one, everyone in it has a great attitude and a positive spirit.*The supervisor STEVEN has made a few special orders for me and they've always been on time etc. Everything's always been great. He performs professionally, courteously & displays a great attitude.If you need any special orders or anything in particular he's the guy to go to. They have an amazing assortment of pet supplies and I'm really satisfied with this store. Great job keep it up ??

Huge selection of products for your pets. I go there to find a specific kind of high-end, healthy food for my dog (Open Farm). The staff there is very knowledgeable and they all seem very passionate about animals.
