The pharmacy was great until whoever recently bought it out has hired staff that has zero customer service. The male pharmacist behind the counter is very nice and very helpful. Whoever the woman is that works there is extremely rude and talks over you and then tells you that you wasted her time because she has been talking to you this whole time when she was the one that was talking my ear off and I just had a quick question. I tried calling my script over a week ago and then I called it in again yesterday. Yesterday they were closed due to snow so I understand that but over a week ago I should’ve received a call back. I let her know that I left a voicemail after pressing prompts to fill a prescription. She said that the prescription number I entered is not valid, but it is the script number on the bottle and the automated system verified that by spelling my last name back to me. When I tried to explain that to her rather than apologizing and saying, I will fill your script as soon as possible. She came up with many excuses and basically said that it’s not her fault. It’s the automated systems fault and they don’t know where those voicemails go and I’m just going to have to deal with it because there’s other people that are waiting for their prescriptions. The medication that I need I cannot live without and I am now out of it. To the company… be careful who you hire. They can make you lose a lot of customers. Custom service unfortunately is now very rare these days and this Pharmacy now lacks it. They just lost a customer today. One that has been going there for years.

After reading so many incredible reviews I was really surprised by the way El Tejon Pharmacy treated other patients and me. When I went to pick up my prescriptions the manager, Robin, raised her voice and claimed I had presented her with a dental card. After explaining multiple times it was a medical card I had to get Blue Cross on the phone to move forward. It was shocking and worrisome that a manager of a pharmacy would not know the difference between a dental card and a medical card not mention be so aggressive and hostile. In the hour I spent waiting for Robin to accept my insurance I watched Jessica, the receptionist, turn other people away based on their insurance. Having received my prescriptions that were in fact covered by insurance, I felt it would be irresponsible to neglect writing this review in reflection of the number of other patients who also are covered but have been turned away on account of the staff's negligence and do not have the time to sit there for an hour and get matters squared away. I had to go back a second time for another prescription that both Jessica and Robin claimed they didn't have, I went and spoke to the pharmacist, Sam, who reassured me they did in fact have it. Despite Robin having spoken to Blue Cross the day prior and Jessica and Sam both having been present for the hour long incident, Jessica insisted they needed to bill a new insurance card and Sam stated they couldn't bill any insurance for the medication. I've never had so many issues at a pharmacy and am worried about a medical staff that do not care for their patients in a kind and ethical manner.

Called to see if they could fill my son’s prescription because we are new to the area and would like to be able to fill his medicine nearby. Spoke to Francis. She spoke with the pharmacist and informed me one of his medications could not be filled by them at all. Like ever. I let her know I would have to call around to find a different pharmacy which you think would be understood as I’m not going to just fill partial medications at one place then travel for another. Well she just hung up on me. Literally didn’t even respond after I let her know I’d have to find another place. Her attitude is unbearable I could not imagine having to deal with such a nightmare of a person every few weeks when filling medications. Major yikes

Always in and out, even if there's a short line (which is rare to see a line). Very neat and clean and awesome staff!

Pure attitude. No thanks. They are the only game in town and they know it. Overheard them say they wouldn't open a jar of some drug to fill a small prescription, a drug that they had but withheld from someone because their prescription wasn't large enough. Horrible.

It's always nice to be able to give an appraisal of any Services in Frazier Park. After all we want to shop local. El Tejone Pharmacy is not one of those Places. You will want to avoid at all costs, visiting this Facility. After we noticed they were open we tried to use them. Support them. They, were not of a like mind. Their every action was antagonistic and demeaning. Not the actions of good customer service.

Ty the pharmacist is one of the smartest and most competent people you will ever meet in this type of business. I have to say that I was impressed with his knowledge of exactly how pharmaceuticals are metabolized and why they can make you sick. I wish I could find a doctor that smart.

I recently picked up a prescription and discovered, when I got home, that it was incorrect. The doctor had written a subsequent prescription and apparently had not cancelled the older one. I returned the medication the next morning and was told they would not refund the cost. While we all agreed that it was the doctor's mistake, they said they couldn't bill him. So, just because they could get away with it, I had to pay for a mistake that I had no responsibility for whatsoever.

The customer service is horrible, they are not accommodating at all. I called d to tell them I would be literally one minute past closing and they said regardless, they will lock the doors at 6pm. The person at the front desk was rude and they truly do not care about the people they serve. The pharmacist is also very rude and I'm personable and did not even personally apologize for messing up the dosage on a previous prescription that caused me to overdose. He had the customer service person tell me it was a computer glitch.
