First visit here bringing Hanisi our dog, she was abandoned and we fell in love with her and decided she was perfect addition to our family. The staff at Aborn were warm and friendly and answered all the questions we had, during our visit, Hanisi received her shots and treatment for eye infection. We highly recommend Aborn to pet owners who love and want to keep their pets healthy. Thank you

Everyone is nice. Just wish they would of taken my cats temperature and felt his stomach area. Prices are high too. Otherwise pleasant experience.

It was my first time here, and I had a good experience! The front desk staff were friendly, my phone calls were answered promptly and professionally, and I was able to schedule an appt for the next business day. The office was simple and clean, and the vet and vet tech gave me their full attention without seeming rushed or like they were selling me things I didn't need. And most importantly, my dog was taken care of. Obviously I'm only a very recent customer, but as a pet owner I see so many scary bad reviews of vets......I wanted to offer reassurance and a thumbs up that I appreciated Aborn Per Hospital!

Literally the most chaotic and disorganized vet I've ever been to in my life, and we've tried most of them in Fremont. We've had to wait an hour even with an appointment, just to have to wait longer to print a quote (how long should that take?) Some of the veterinarians have no emotion and talk like robots and the staff all don't know what's going on with one another, with some of them acting like they've never handled an animal before.I really tried to like this place, but the wait times, lack of empathy, and uncoordinated staff make this completely not reliable to recommend.Down to 1 star entirely to even it out as I sit here waiting to pick up my cat, which should be a simple exchange and it's been over 15 minutes. Simply ridiculous.

A good pet vet place for my Toy Poodle. Gabriella the receptionist is very helpful and informative. She is patient and answers all my queries very knowledgeably. Overall happy, but seems to be slightly expensive rates for all procedures, exams….

Took my German Sheppard to Aborn Pet Hospital because she was not eating and had been panting all day. We got an appointment within two hours of my call. The staff was friendly, The place was clean. The Vet Techs and Dr Gil examined my girl without hesitation. After an exam, Blood work and through explanation we left with meds to help her eat again. Thank you Aborn Pet Hospital

DO NOT COME HERE, ESPECIALLY WITH A SENIOR ANIMALThe nurse and Dr Ravi S Mann manhandled the s*** out of my senior cat. Shes 11 years old and they picked her up by the scruff multiple times when she has an extremely nice temperament. They also wanted to put her under anesthesia for an X RAY when my previous vet (a couple VCA locations in san jose) have never put any of my cats under for x rays. She was happy and fine before i brought her in and she usually bounces back quickly after the vet but the treatment she received during a regular wellness exam has traumatized her. i'm just going to drive her all the way to south san jose now and i'm scared to seek out a new vet in the area.

I went there , I was not satisfied at all. Long wait despite apt, almost waited half a day. If i have to wait that long why appt? It is apparent place overload themselves with appt and trouble serving patrons on time. In the end they did not do anything about ailment my kat had (leg issue) instead gave some pain medication "to try" and charged for 150$. Plus my kat was not really showing any pain reaction just mild discomfort which I told them. I did not want pain medication but pinpoint the leg problem and they did nothing. I decided not to bring again fearing another needless treatment that I did not ask for and my kats injury healed in its own. The only positive experience was to chat with some other patrons while waiting. So in the end, I went there, no I'd not recommend that place at all.

I've been to many pet hospitals, and out of the 6, I've taken my pets to none have had the excellent customer service as the Aborn staff and Vet Dr. The level of compassion and thoughtfulness of how my animal was treated shows the professionalism each staff member has for their clients and each need for our fury family members. I appreciate how I was treated and my concern for my dog. I want everyone to experience such great service!!

Do NOT go here for a travel certificate for your animal. They will LIE about the price to get you to come in, and then stick you with an over $600 bill. VERY SHADY PRACTICES so please be careful before you come. I drove all the way from Oakland because they promised a different price, and then once they performed the EASY travel certificate assessment they shoved a bill in my face for $644. I told Dr. Mann that I was told a different price and could not afford that price. He offered to take off $4. Please be careful, Dr. Mann intentionally does NOT post his travel certificate prices online...which allows this clinic to practice underhanded & predatory business. Shame on this clinic for misleading innocent working class people. I will say that the vet tech who assisted my dog was exceptional, I cannot remember her name (tall and slim with long dark hair), but she was lovely & professional, and a total angel with my dog. She ironically did most of the wok.

Terrible!! I recently adopted a cat from the shelter who has a black spot on his eyes and Giardia infection. My cat has Giardia and was prescribed Panacur+ Medtrinidazole (??) to be used together. Not sure if the vet knows what he's doing, but after feeding the medication for my cat for 5-6 days, I read research papers online from reputable sources where 99% of them advise only using these 2 medication together only IF my cat has diarrhea. He did not have diarhea and using too much antibiotics would put him into antibiotic resistance. Urghhhh! No one asked if he has diarhea and just straight away prescribe medication. Another incident is my cat has an eye "ulcer" as they call it. Not sure if they even know what they're doing. They told me to give him antibiotic (again!) and some eye oitment. He's not getting better and after more than 1 week, I took him to an eye specialist who said his eye's black spot is no longer an ulcer but already form into a scar. For the eye to turn from an ulcer to a scar, it must take some months, so meaning the diagnostic results done at Aborn is WRONG. I don't know if they purposely diagnose wrongly or what, but how can they not know this? I have to put my baby through so much discomfort with all the ointment applied on his eye for even more harm. Oh and the assistant almost gave the instruction for the medication wrong, if I didn't clarify. I was only supposed to give antibiotics 3 days after the oitment but the instruction NEVER said so. If you love your pet, pls go somewhere else.

Aborn is not my regular vet however, my dog had an redrash/inflammation on her nose area. I contacted my regular vet and they could not see her for a week! Outside of going to emergency vet, I contacted Aborn and they had me come in later that afternoon. The Vet who saw her was knowledgeable and easy to speak with. I was so thankful to get her seen. I will think about taking her and my cats to Aborn on a regular basis. I had a great experience.

The only place, hands down, I will ever take my sweet cat, Survivor, to. Dr. Gill is the best vet I have ever worked with, and he makes sure each and every time to give her the best and easiest experience. Please go here, you won’t regret it.
