I recently purchased a bed and couch from Ashley and James our sales person was extremely helpful and kind. All the employees were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were so impressed with the service we returned for a kitchen table and a bed set.

Good collection. I had a look at the sofas here to get an idea, and bought the same item in a smaller store 40% cheaper.IMO, if the products are reasonably priced, with Ashley's branding you don't need that many sales guys. Suggest the store to relook at cutting cost and passing it on.

*NEW REVIEW* I am sooooo frustrated it’s not even funny. I ordered couches and between the time I ordered them and their scheduled delivery date the store called me to notify me that the couches were discontinued. We found a workaround and I settled for display models from Emeryville (mind you I live in San Jose) at a discounted price which also now included a coffee table set. I thought great I’m getting an even better deal. I financed my couches through acima Christina said that she would make the proper adjustments for the new discounted rate and she has not yet done so. I have called the store several times to speak to her about the matter and she or whoever answers the phone says she will call me back but THEY NEVER DO! So now I’m adjusting my rating until the matter is fixed.*original review * Tom and Cristina were a great help. They helped my find the best living room set it was a quick and easy process. Will definitely be back when we are ready to furnish out next room.

I had the opportunity to work with James Scottins as I searched for some new furniture. James was knowledgeable, patient, and had great energy. I enjoyed my experience at Ashley Furniture in Fremont, and this was all based on the interaction I had with my salesperson. I will be back to give them more of my business.

Came here to get a dining room set they had advertised as a "door buster" deal hoping to have a new table for thanksgiving. The salesperson said they couldn't deliver it until 12/26 conveniently right after the holidays but they just so happen to have a table that is $200 more in stock. Odd though that their own website says the table will deliver in 1-2 weeks. When mentioning this to the sales person he said let me go check something and went to the back but we just left. Felt like a total bait and switch and just a shady salesperson trying to make a few extra bucks on commission. You could've made something now you made nothing and lost a customer for life.

Save yourself time and go to Living Spaces.I ordered a dining table online. It was delivered damaged, so I contacted Ashley, waited 2 weeks for a technician who came in, took a picture and left, telling me to call the next day and they’d send a replacement. It took him a week to finished the notes, 2 weeks and 6 calls later there is still no progress with the replacement table. Every call to customer service is the exact same, ending with “please allow 24-48 hours to be contacted” which never happens. Ordered the table in September and have went the entire month of October with no replacement. At this point I would rather just have a refund so that I could shop elsewhere. 0 Star experience from this store.

We came here to buy a recliner my husband found online, and fortunately they had it in stock on the sales floor. We didn't do any shopping around because we already knew exactly what we wanted, and the salesperson helped us process the sale, schedule delivery through a third party delivery guy that came by to meet us in person, and also add on the protection package. There was no hassle for anything.

Save yourself some time and go to Living Spaces. Ordered online, product arrived damaged, have been dealing with them for over a month to get a replacement. Every phone call with customer service is exactly the same, ending with them asking us to wait 24-48 for someone to contact us which never happens.

This store is the worst customer service I have ever seen, the manager is never pleasing look, you have to fight for everything, initially they chargers 300 dollars for shipping and then I have to explain them that other stores (not Ashley) are giving free shipping, and then every other store has 300 gift card for specific mattress this store does not have, I have to fight to get it. I bought 4200 dollar worth of material and I had paid 900 dollar more and with lot of fight I got it back. I never ever go to this shop. I only have option to give 1 start otherwise I would give 0

Female Manager RACISM!!!Well, here are two managers. The male manager is very nice. Every time I go there, I look forward to him being there. He helps me solve problems such as purchase, transportation, installation, etc. So I spent a total of about 10,000 US dollars to buy furniture here for our new home.This time I came here to buy another coffee table and met the female manager. First of all, as a guest, I have never felt so disrespected. She slumped on the sofa and didn't even get up to have a proper conversation with me. I came two days in a row because we didn't agree on the price on the first day and she treated me very badly. Come to her the next day and tell her to accept the 10% discount she offered yesterday. She treated me with an even more arrogant and rude attitude. She told me that yesterday was yesterday and today is today, and she would not give me 10% off today, for no reason. I don’t understand that as a consumer, I have to be blamed and humiliated by her when I come to spend money. This is blatant racism. Just because we are Asians and she is White, she can treat us with such a sooo bad attitude?I went back to Ashley,Davin apologized to me on behalf of the female manager even though it was not his fault. I am very grateful to Davin for helping me, we completed the transaction in 10 minutes. I will come back to Davin when I need it.

I purchased a sofa sleeper from there. The sales representative assured me that the sleeper would be as flat as a real bed. When I tried it in the store, it worked really well. However, after I received the sofa sleeper, it started sinking towards the middle at an angle of about 9 degrees, which has been causing significant discomfort to my back.A technician came to inspect it and claimed that the sinking is normal and not a defect. When I contacted customer service about this issue, they informed me that they would only go by the technician's inspection result. This means that it's apparently acceptable to have a significant disparity between the furniture they delivered and the promises made by the sales representative or the furniture on display, as long as there is no defect detected by their technician
