Went to see about their FREE engine light scanning, I was told their scanner was stolen and go down the street to their competitors. I did and was told they have been doing this for months because they don't wAnt to deal with customers. Great job, I won't go back.

I haven't been to this location for a long time after I was lied to about why they no longer had a parts book available to lookup oil and air filters myself. I later found out the manager wanted all looking up to go threw the employees, impossible when they are busy. This time wanted my engine light checked out, I was told their scanner was stolen which I'm sure was another lie. They told me to go to their competitors. They told me Fremont bld. AutoZone does this constantly. And they are used to it, I avoid this location .

Terrible Customer service. We bought lug nuts that didn’t fit, we brought them back the next day to return. Bigger fella with earrings wouldn’t take it back cus the package wasn’t perfect. The product was untouched but we had to open the package somehow lol. Wouldn’t even offer store credit or anything. Funny part is we went to Newark and they gave us a refund no questions asked. As any company should. I hope the employee gets a talking about business 101 because he just costed the owner a customer. Refund policy should have been on the syllabus! Do better.

Your everyday AutoZone, you got everything you need. Sometimes I call it Heads Up.
They get things ready for me and I just go there and pick it up. Customer service is awesome. They got tool rental program as well which is great sometimes. If you need some tools just for once, you can go and get it and then return it to them.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased a thermostat with housing here. I have an account here with my specific truck. Anyhow, the lady gave me the wrong thermostat and housing. I didn’t realize this until I got home and went to install the thermostat a few days later. Unfortunately I had thrown out the box it was in so now I’m stuck with a $40 thermostat that I can’t use. Fast forward a week and I went there to purchase an EVAP Leak Detection Pump. The guy said it’s on aisle 6. I found that odd but I checked out aisle 6 and all I could see was oil. I went back to the guy and told him that I didn’t think he understood me so I showed him a pic of what it is. He said “Oh, I thought you meant a hand pump.” Seriously! I went there a few days ago to get something and had to repeat my phone number 4 times because a different guy kept entering it wrong in their system. I walked out at that point and went to O’Reilly’s. I hadn’t been to AutoZone for several years because when I went back then I ordered 6 pistons and when they arrived there were only 5 pistons, but there were 6 boxes. One of the boxes was empty. When I returned them and explained this they didn’t believe me. I’ll never go to any AutoZone again.
