Banter Bookshop is a locally-owned, independent bookstore and true gem located in the newly developing Downtown Fremont shopping district. It is a very impressive, fun, and cute little store that is all organized. The selection is thoughtfully curated with a great variety and a wide range of topics, including a lovely kids section towards the back. The staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and provide great service, always pleasant to chat with and genuinely wanting to help. It is a small, quiet store but inviting, a refreshing place to have in the area. The shop cleverly involves and connects to the Fremont community. It is a must stop for any book lover, a great place to browse, pick up a book or two, and find a gift.

My favorite book store. Love how clean and cozy this place is a how they curate books for the community and staff are friendly. Also love their discount shelf too.

Nice addition to Fremont! Good selection of books and they have story time for kids on Thursdays and Saturdays!
