I've had frozen shoulder at the beginning of this year and have tried many types of treatments such as acupuncture, massage, and physical therapy. But huge improvement was made after I tried Hot Yoga at Yoga Journey Studios. The heat really helped to relax the muscles so that I was able to stretch with less pain. All teachers here are very supportive and encourage. There is a community vibe here, people are friendly and supportive as well. And a huge thank you to the owner, Kuan who has been extremely supportive in finding a plan that works for my schedule. I think I will be keep practicing here for a long time.

I have been taking the Bikram Hot Yoga class regularly at Yoga Journey Studio in Fremont, CA more than two years. After working from home for more than a year during the pandemic, I started to experience wrist and elbow pain and had difficulty even performing ordinary house chores. A friend of mine introduced me to the heated Yoga at this place and since then it has become my treat and therapy of every week for both my physical and mental health. I was very stiff and awkward in the beginning but was kindly encouraged by every teacher and fellow student there. After a few months of practicing, my wrist and elbow problem has improved a lot. I think it's the Yoga under the heated and humid conditions that boosted the micro circulation of my whole body. Every teacher is very good and I especially like Lee for his jokes and explanations of the purpose and benefit of each posture. The owner Kuan is also very helpful with the membership and always doing her best to find a program suitable for my need. To me, it's almost like a physical therapy in a more relaxing environment. It's cheaper and more flexible too. I strongly recommend the heated Yoga at this place.

I like teacher Kito checking each student’s gesture and correcting it. And he also made some adjustment based on current students’ level, so every time I attended his class, I learned different poses and made some progress. :)

PLEASE DONT GO HERE. The place stinks and they don't even have disinfectant wipes. I've been to hot yoga places before this was by far the worst. Save your money and go elsewhere. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

I really enjoy working out at Yoga Journey. The teachers are friendly, and my favorites are Lee and Darsh, who help correct the poses as and when needed. The studio has laminate flooring that is hygienic and keeps the area clean. It would be nice to have some calming music during the 1.5-hour session. This is a place I look forward to visiting every time!

I have a great experience. I really enjoy practicing hot yoga. My whole body is very comfortable, making me feel healthier and easier to persist. I have clearly seen the changes in my body shape. It's great! The owner is also very kind!

The staff here all radiate with positive energy and have good expertise when leading class. They help yogis fix their form and give helpful tips on improving posture. The studio room is spacious and clean. It has large windows so you get natural sunlight during class and can see sunset which is really nice. This studio lacks variety. The weekly schedule remains the same in terms of class type and instructor at the same time on certain days. If you thrive on repetition you'll enjoy that here. Bikram will always have a sequence which is understandable, but the hot HIIT also follows a sequence which feels less exciting after awhile. Overall I sweat a ton here and always leave the studio feeling refreshed thanks to Kito, Lee, Darsh, and Sarah who are amazing instructors!

Started doing bikram yoga almost 10 years ago and it helped me with my back and shoulder pain. I was happy when they opened a studio in Fremont.. closer to home and work.I don’t go on a regular basis because of conflicting schedules . But when I go, I always feel energized after each class and I sleep better. And my back and shoulder pain are gone. The teachers are awesome (Lee and Kito). They make you feel welcome whether you’re a new member or has been practicing for a while.

Really glad to find a Bikram / hot yoga studio. Have taken classes with at least 4 different teachers so far - all unique and great. Love the location and convenience. And really happy to see so many classes throughout the week! If you want hot/Bikram, I'd highly recommend this studio.

It’s an amazing yoga studio .The staff Kuan , Lee etc are very friendly and welcoming . You sweat , you rejuvenate , you burn calories it’s very refreshing after the workout . The new yoga journey studios added various other workouts like Pilates , Vinayasa etc along with traditional bikram yoga . These are definitely worth trying . If you ask me go for an unlimited pass and try all different workouts and detox yourself .Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to make their lives better with yoga and meditation.

First session was today with Maryjane teaching vinyasa. Excellent instructor & plenty of space for you & your mat. They also have lockers in the lounge/waiting area to keep your valuables safe.

If you decide to try it, remember there is a fine line between pushing yourself and overdoing it. Some of the teachers in this class will try to force you to push it farther than you know you should. Some of the teachers will say during the class "feel like you're gonna throw up? feel like you're about to pass out? Then you're doing it right." This is not true. If you feel this way, honor your body. You will get widely varying instructions: One teacher will say, "Each pose is an invitation. if you do not want to do it or if you want to hold it longer, that's all fine." Other teachers will say you have to do everything exactly as they say in, when they say it. So again, stay firm with what YOU need. Some teachers will say, "Lie down when you need". Others will say, "Why did you come here if you're just going to give up?" They also don't tell you shouldn't drink water until the teacher tells you you can, but I've seen them shame participants for doing so. Yoga in 100-105 degrees has not been scientifically shown to have any benefit. The teachers will say the hot yoga is cleaning out all your toxins but try to find a research paper that proces that; Hint: there isn't one. Anyway, any kind of yoga is good for lots of different people and you might love this. There are lots of people who seem to enjoy it- for awhile anyway. Just be good to yourself!
