This is a great bank staff is so helpful last time I went in Octavia Bell help me she such a wonderful lady she was kind and such a great help if you ever get a chance to come to this place i would definitely recommend Octavia she a sweetheart.

Whenever I go to this CEFCU branch, Octavia always knows who I am and greets me with her wonderful smile and bright spirit. She goes above and beyond to help me, she great customer service. She always talks to me about the business at hand.

We stopped in today to deposit some checks. The teller who helped us was very kind and patient. We had questions and needed the money to go into different accounts. She answered all of our questions and showed a caring and helpful . attitude. We had some questions about interest rates,, another woman who may have been the manager, overheard and immediately printed out information for us, and answered more of our questions. She was extremely kind, patient and helpful as well. Getting Customer Service like this seems like more and more of a rarity these days and we left feeling extremely thankful for what they had done for us.Thank you! I wish I had got the names of these ladies, who helped us hopefully they know who they are. Thank you both!

I just visited my CEFCU branch in Fremont, CA and I met April Cabardo, she's one of the member service representative. I have received one of the most excellent customer service ever!!!She's very detailed oriented, honest, friendly, and has a beautiful heart. This is one of the reason why I chose CEFCU to be my bank, a bank where you'll receive the best customer service you deserve.I hope that people will read this review and switch over to CEFCU bank.Cheers!!!!

Staff was rude and not wanting to help. I was late on a payment by 2 weeks. I understand I was late but they called me repeatedly everyday for a week and they were not understanding that sometimes things happen. When I told the lady who called I would pay soon she demanded a date and I could hear other girls laughing. I felt like my misfortune was a joke to them. I will not be doing business with this company any further once I transfer my auto loan to a new company.

phone rep at the 800 number started giving me information about my account before i told her why i called. when i told her the reason for my call, she gave me incorrect information. i explained to her why she was incorrect. she transferred me to collections. the rep there couldn't answer a question about making extra principal payments. she said she might be able to if she could view my account. she told me principal only payments can't be made. i told her i have been doing it for months. she told me no, they can't be made. a bit argumentative. customer service was a bit lacking.

I'm extremely disappointed with this place. Our 1st loan for a commercial vehicle was granted in one of the San José locations... no problem at all. Everything was communicated fairly. Loan was paid in full with no issues at all. We were satisfied and decided to do most of our investments there. 3 more loans. 2 refinanced and 1 regular. This time at the Fremont location closer to home. The worse experience ever. Of course the beginning was awesomely nice! No late payments on any of the vehicles and great credits. Well guess what, since I have bought my vehicle the original bank didn't required for me to have full coverage, so I had liability and since with this bank I was refinancing and it was the first time ever I refinanced "anything", I didn't know I was required to have a full coverage. I work in sales, hand and hand with AP and AR departments, we call our customers, sales rep and accountant, we mail, we email and we make sure they are aware of what is happening with their accounts. Here, they only mail "letters"... They have my personal checking bank account information where they automatically take out the monthly payments of all the vehicles; they also have my email and my personal and work number. I will not pay attention to tons of junk mail. The collection guy has been writing notes on my accounts of ALL the phone calls he made in attempt to contact me... I have not even one voicemail or email. Both phones right next to me. I received many calls from customers all day. This was a very important matter, why didn't this man leave 1 single voicemail since day one to let me know one of the cars was being repossessed. Out of 3 vehicles one was having an issue. WE ARE YOUR CUSTOMERS! Not an enemy. This man has been lying about contacting me... just be very careful when the agent is explaining to you. Unfortunately my agent at the Fremont location had an incredible deep accent and o couldn't understand her well, my husband said he did, I assumed he would take mental notes for me. All because of liability and full coverage insurance, not because late payments the car was repossessed with a total amount of $2,532.06. If you pay it the car is yours. If you don't take the car you still have to pay your loan and debt. Screw this place they have ruined my credit to top It all off.

I needed to help my son out with a financial issue we could not resolve online or by phone, so I luckily found a walk-in branch. The CU was empty inside, but the parking lot was full. It's nestled in near a Walmart. The staff were helpful and I completed business in about five minutes.
