I have only been here twice and both times were a great experience. The owner and stylist extraordinaire - Carlina, is as talented as she is friendly. It really feels like you're visiting a friend when you come in. Her salon has snacks and beverages for you to enjoy too. My most recent appointment was for a cut and color shortly after salons started opening back up with limited capacity. Carlina went above and beyond with her covid safety measures. She was masked and gloved of course and she was constantly disinfecting her tray and tools after each round. Each time we switched rooms (between chair and rinsing), we would change smocks. I really feel for salon owners as I'm sure the additional laundry, disposable smocks, PPE, and wipes really increase their cost of running business. Anyway.... I needed Carlina to fix my pandemic hair. I had the bottom of my hair dipped in blue before and everything was faded, hair grown back pretty unevenly, and super dry on the ends from bleaching. She trimmed the damaged ends and respected my wishes of not chopping off all the damaged parts. I absolutely hate it when the person with the scissors decides what they're going to cut and completely disregards my wishes for my hair. You don't have to worry about that with Carlina! Her daughter also has her hair dyed blue, so she was very comfortable getting creative with the different shades. I gave her free reign here to make my hair look unique and I couldn't be happier with the results! Just look at the photos!! She used cobalt, sapphire and periwinkle. I'm totally in love with her work! Another thing I really appreciate about Carlina is that she wants you to take care of your hair once you go home so she sends you off with a care package. It's been my experience at other hair places that they take that opportunity to pressure you into buying all kind of products. Instead, Carlina sends you home with a baggie of sample sized products as aftercare (sort of like a dentist will send you home with a toothbrush, floss and mini toothpaste). She provided a small tube of Keep Me Vivid cream along with enough small packets to easily last over a month. I can't speak highly enough about this salon, the service, skill and attention to all the details. Pre and mid-pandemic, I've enjoyed my visits and really hope whoever is reading this will book an appointment to experience this too!

Carlina is the best! I stumbled upon this salon a year ago looking to get soft layers for long black hair. Carlina did an awesome job and was very knowledgeable at bringing my dull hair back to life. Not only did she do a great job at my hair cut, but her family made me feel at home. I came back again this year looking to cut my long black hair again and possibly get a color. I asked for a medium cut and mocha brown balayage. She did more than what I expected! I love my hair so much more and it was such a fun experience with laughs and great conversations. I highly recommend coming to this salon.

First of all, Carlina and her family are hilarious. Not only did I get my hair done here, but I had a great time talking to her and her family. I came to Carlina for a messy updo for a wedding. I made an appointment over the phone and she texted me to send pictures of my hair and what I wanted to get done. She gave me a quote and reminded me to wash my hair the night before coming in. You can tell she takes the time to talk to her clients. I had an appointment at 10am and we finished around 11am. She was super nice, listened to everything I asked for, and didn't push me to do anything I didn't want to. I'm pretty picky about how my hair is done but Carlina made my hair look great. I got a lot of compliments at the wedding. I will definitely be back! Thank you, Carlina!

I love this place! Carlina was so sweet and explained to me the whole process of the service i was asking for. I got a short A-line cut and all over rich, dark brown color. I was nervous since I have super curly hair and it was pretty long as well. Carolina gave me color and style options and let me know what she thought would be best. I just moved from So Cal and I'm so happy to have found a place I can trust with my hair!

I was so happy to get an appointment here last minute. Lin did a beautiful blow out and curling of my hair. Style lasted well and my hair looked and felt great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Carlina is the most amazing hairstylist you will ever visit. Ever since I came to her to fix a tragic blonde gone wrong by a cheap salon, I will never go elsewhere. She's so kind and really listens to what you want and does exactly that. I would never trust anyone else with my hair because my hair grows slow as a turtle yet she perfects it every time! Best place to go for your hair, hands down ! I also took my sister with me the second time and my sister is shy and never wants to get her hair cut but now she only asks for Carlina, she hates and refuses to go anywhere else!!

Carlina is the best person when I comes to hair! Not only is her knowledge of hair awesome, she takes great care of you! She takes her time to ensure your hair is perfect. Staff is very welcoming and they offered me snacks, drinks and a Nintendo Switch, yes I said it, a NINTENDO SWITCH to play with while I wait my turn. Nothing but positive and welcoming vibes when I first walked in. If you haven't seen Chic Styling Salon and their staff make an appointment and see for yourself! Will be back at this salon to get another cut soon!

I have gotten my hair done by both Carlina and Natalie and WOW they do such a wonderful job. Hair washes feel so amazing because they massage my head while doing so and I just feel like sleeping right then and there. Hair color jobs are amazing time and time again! I understand it's difficult to color hair because everyones hair type is different so they do take a few sessions BUT it's because they care so much about the feel and health of the hair! They do hair treatments and always recommend the best products ever for my hair. It's such a pretty little shop with a really friendly, fun, and professional staff! Beverages and snacks are always being offered also, so that's a plus too!

Had a lovely wash and blow out with Natalie. She gave a wonderful head massage during the wash, and then took her time blow drying my hair. The shop itself is very cute, and they have coffee and snacks available while you wait.

I came to Chic Styling Salon for a Very last minute blow out and they were able to fit me in! Since it was my first time there they gave me 10% off yay! I believe Carlina was my stylist. Her personality was warm and welcoming. She made me feel so comfortable while being with her the entire time. She was super soft handed and gentle with my scalp. My usually stylist is literally banging my head around lol The only con was, my hair was not fully dried at the roots... it was still pretty wet. My hair is thick and curly so my curly hair girls know the deal... I was in a rush and told her that it was okay. It wasn't that big of deal but to some people it might be. I did book last minute and I know my hair is a struggle to work with. I went home and fixed it. All and all, the blow out did last me 3 days!! I will probably be back again and not book last minute.

I have visited this place a few times for root touch up and styling only because they always made sure they don't handle the hair in any rough way! I have always adjusted to the fact that the services have been way too slow and time consuming! But the few times I had went for partial highlights, never had I felt that I got the color I requested! Last few times I did not bother to give review to the owner and always went with what was done ! But this time ( I went this June 29th 2019 n then 30th again to fix) I clearly specified with pictures on what color I wanted before I went and still they did their own color! And this is the same color they have done for me the last few times I came in for partial highlights! I got very disappointed from the comments I received from my family post this coloring ( as I had hyped my folks telling I am going to get it colored this time right as I have detailed them on what's needed). Very very disappointing!
