Majority of the negative reviews are from almost a year ago so I'll state my honest and recent experience . This branch is kind, helpful, and effective. I went in one day to ask a question and set up an appointment for next week. I then went in a few days early before my appointment and was able to get done what I needed to get done in 20 minutes. Apart from that one incident, I never wait in line and the staff guides me to the correct person if what I need is not available at the moment. I really can't stress enough how kind they are as well. Lots of smiles and welcomes. Their promotions are great and offer lots of way to grow your money in a way you can monitor your progress. I recommend to go in and see for yourself what kind of experience they offer. If you're looking for a new bank or place to start saving. I wouldn't pass this up.

I stopped by and asked if I could open an account and the person at the desk said he was too busy. The manager was then asked to help and they said no. I'm taking my business to a bank that wants new business and is willing to provide customer service. I would not recommend anyone visit this branch the management is horrible!!!

As a new Citibank member I did not feel welcome at all. Here's my story I became a Citibank member as multiple friends and family members recommended the bank and said the bank itself was good however last night I made an appointment with a financial advisor and was very excited to speak with that person and just get more information about Citibank as a new member, I read the reviews last night about this location and how it operated but I still decided to move forward and try it out for myself. I got in at 10 AM and was told to take a seat and someone would be with me ,the representative that was scheduled to have an appointment with me and tossed me to someone else to help me with my questions. I thought I was a little unprofessional to ask me what I needed in the middle of the floor instead of in private behind one of their offices such as any other customer would be doing . So that representative came out as well and asked me to go to another person's desk where she and a third representative didn't really help me answer my questions. I was a little disappointed I didn't even get a welcome to Citibank as a new member or anything like that, the lady didn't really give me any information on what they do is financial advisors pretty much told me to keep saving my money and so forth but I felt as a financial advisor that they would give me a little bit more information and be a little bit more helpful but it seems like they were only interested in people who wanted to invest or so forth. I was hoping to get information about planning for the future and saving and so much more information but I was really given kind of the boot in a sense and it wasn't really helpful and kind of a waste of my time. If that was the case I definitely would've made a phone call to ask my questions instead of going in person.Unfortunately I was not happy with my experience but I do hope that as a Citibank member I will get better experiences maybe in other branches.

The peeps in here are actually very friendly, the system is just very slow. Half the time there was only 1 teller at the counter so be prepared to wait.

I hate this branch! As others have stated the wait times are horrid. I went in at lunch break and went in. Great I am the only one in line! Ha! Still stood there for 20 minutes. Right when a teller became available, one of the managers has the teller do his transaction for someone who came in after me. So a longer wait. By this time I am late back to work. Then the teller calls me up with the manager type dude still standing there and he says "I'm sorry for the delay" to which I looked up at him and said "are you really? No your not!" I also said that you need to have a teller window open for single transactions only. His transaction was more important than the person standing in line for 20 minutes....sorry 25 minutes. I am going to move my account to the Union City branch. Further away by 5 minutes but I can find parking, have friendly greetings from a teller and be done and out and back to work in less time. The tellers are nice though.......when you finally get up to the window. Management always look like they are trying to avoid you.

The customer service at this branch is bare bone. The desk in the lobby is messy with different kind of paper. There is no clear instruction that a customer shall make an appointment in order to talk to a banker. The banker would rather start a phone call with a client, keeping other clients who have been waiting in the lobby waiting. Also, no privacy when a banker talks to a customer as one can over-hear the conversation in the lobby. It is the worst branch experience, which is absolutely and surprising below the minimum standard of Citi Bank.

Bad customer experience. Yu Mimi K. a manager there is not willing to listen and help. When I opened a CitiGold account she hid about the fact that the cash back bonus was paid in a debit card. That is fine but it's not the same as cash deposits into my account and she should have been honest about it. When I asked her about it her response was "oh...it's the same just use it to pay for grocery.". She did not even bother to give an explanation why she lied and just told me how to spend my money. I wouldn't trust her handling my money.

I did wait, but as a decent human being I made sure I made time outta my day for it. Because they are working as best as they can during COVID. The teller, manager and banker were all very friendly and made sure they knew I was there. I got what I needed to be done and Tabitha was very sweet and friendly. Btw if they said your not wearing a proper mask then go get yourself one, because face shields don't count. If I have to wear both in the hospital then you should too.

No idea why they have this branch opened. They have 5 teller counters, but no matter what time you arrive, you get to wait since there's always only one teller available to help. Average wait time is 15 - 20 mins in my experience. Some of them takes more breaks than the customers they serve it seems. Some of them are nice and willing to listen others are just rude. And parking is always a hurdle here. Even to use the ATM, you go around find a parking. I try to avoid this place as much as possible.

This location is ALWAYS short staffed. You come in anytime and you are expected to wait. I came in couple times and no matter how long the line is, there is only one banker.....

Terrible customer service. Rude personal bankers. Please avoid going to this branch. People who work here are simply there to collect their pay checks. They have no patience and no interest in answering their customer's financial related questions. One of the bankers (Chinese lady) actually rolled her eyes at me and simply got up and left to help another customer who just walked in even though she was already helping me out. That's how rude she was.

I just reviewed the Decoto branch. After the horrible service I received there, i thought i might get better service here. On entering, it was practically empty. A teller asked me what I was here for and i said open an account. It was around 1:25 and they close at 2. He said he will check with the manager, since they don't open any accounts after 1:30 . The manager was not with any customer but he asked the teller to ask me to come on a different day. I refused to take an appointment, since i had made up my mind to take my business elsewhere. I am not sure if they would have opened my account, if i had told them, i had a large deposit. I have received awesome service before in Wells Fargo and Chase. They would gladly stay a few minutes past the closing time to help customers.

The lines at this place are terrible no staff to accommodate. Only one window waited for over 45 minutes and I am still in line that has not moved. This branch needs some serious management changes.
