CVS Pharmacy inside Target, Oct 2024:
I made an appt for a vaccine on the CVS website. Easy, plenty of time slots available. Texted a link to check in when appointment time occurs.
Counter is quick to check on my online check-in. Pharmacist prepped my vaccine and gave me my shot, minimal wait.
No issues. And a 10off20 coupon for getting a vaccine.
I will definitely consider visiting this location again.

My son’s doctor sent an allergy medicine 5 days ago, no text messages or anything. I went there first they said we didn’t receive it, after proving they did receive it she said yes have but don’t have the medicine only Oakland. She was trying to give hard time because I didn’t accept her B S. I transferred it to Safeway much respectful and have all medication in stock.

The pharmacists are nice and professional. However they are always bust and the line is long . There are only one technician to do the filling of prescriptions and run the cashier . He / she is very capably and efficient. But the line is still very long . CVS has changed their phone system to leave a voice mail only and they will call you back as soon as possible . That may take 1/2 day . One time my dentist needs to call and inquire about my antibiotics prescription. She was on hold for 10 minutes . I tried to call my self and no options for me to talk to a live person . Unless I drive down the and wait at the RX counter .After that incident, I consider to fill my prescription else where . Like Costco pharmacy is near by and they have enough staffs to answer the phone to help the patients .

The staff here are extremely rude, no matter the time of the day, apparently don't know what customer service is. I was in line for a prescription fill about 10-15 minutes before close. While the employee was helping the person in front of me their system/register went down causing that transaction to be a bit longer. As soon as the employee rang up the person in front of me she immediately went to the back and closed the gates of the pharmacy. She saw that I was in line waiting because she was staring at me while trying to reset the register?? When she went back out to clock out, she was extremely rude when I called her out for what she did. She was angry and said "well the systems are down!!" She literally successfully rung up the customer in front of me?? Which i pointed out to her and she says out loud "for fucks sakes!!" Called to escalate this to the manager the next day and manager didnt really care.

This CVS really needs to improve their location inside this Target. They bombard me with calls while working — and I have to constantly deal with the fact that their horrible customer service adds on to the misery of shopping at Target. They also don’t announce when their respective pharmacists go on lunch break, leaving customers stranded for more than 5 minutes on end.
Do better, CVS.

just wanted to by some Claritin-D since my allergies are acting up and i walked up the pharmacy. there was a girl at the front helping someone with a vaccine so I was waiting. When she finished with him I walked up and said "Can I get some Claritin-D" and she just looked at me without saying anything. I said it again and she still did the same thing. So I looked behind her and saw they only had one box of the generic and I said "can i get that box of the generic claritin?" and she finally moved to grab it. i paid and i was so annoyed. she just didn't seem like she wanted to be there or to help me. usually when i'm helping some and i don't have something i'll speak up and say "oh i don't have that is this okay" but she just stared at me blankly. i'm never coming back to this cvs

Good location for a pharmacy! Shopped at Target while awaiting prescription at CVS! Personnel serviced us well and professional! There is even a Starbucks within the store to grab a cup-of-coffee! Parking is good and there is no rushing like other CVS locations!

Possibly the most useless pharmacy I have ever used. It is just useless. I have consistently had to transfer my Rx to other Target / CVS pharmacies. This last time, the tech transferred my Rx to a general CVS without my knowledge or consent. I seriously have no idea how this place stays open.
