Today I finally decided to wear a pair of rain boots i had purchased before my move. Unfortunately I had two left boots. I called to see what could be done regarding my situation and was instructed by Abbey(hope I spelled his name right) as to what could be done for me. He was incredibly sweet and understanding of my situation and helped me through the return process.

I usually go to this shoe store because they offer good deals for shoes compared to other stores I go to. It seems that there are slightly more options for women than for men. They also have discount aisles with labeled prices. I honestly wish that there are more shoes in that section, which is why I don't really go there.
Also, some shoes don't have every size or multiple same sizes. You may want to talk with any staff and see if they have the appropriate size for you. I also noticed that some shoes from the boxes are missing a pair, but that's because the other pair was used for the display. Customers might think that the shoes were missing or something. I found a pair that matches my size, but unfortunately, it was used as a display. I think it's better that they don't leave the box there to prevent customer's confusion.
Overall, the experience is alright, but honestly wished that the service is better.

There was a lady there (I wish I'd gotten her name) who was SUPER helpful and advised me of the great current sale. Even after I'd gotten into line, she was still assisting me. Way to go, Fremont DSW! The best location in the greater area. ? And I got 2 pairs of shoes. ?

There weren't any shoes in my size. The associate told me to check the clearance rack. There was a great pair of shoes there in my size and in the style I wanted. When I took it up to the register they told me it wasn't on clearance and someone had put it there accidentally. Really disappointing customer experience. They should have someone check that section to make sure everything there is classified correctly. I didn't even get a small discount for the inconvenience. I won't be going there anymore.

I bought an $80 pair of boots and the leather started peeling 30 minutes into my first wear. I return to the store a day later and they refuse to refund and insist that it’s normal and not a quality issue, only offering $10 off my next purchase. This store will sell you expensive, defective shoes and take no accountability for defects. Horrible customer service, will never buy from DSW again.
